I looked around. "No ones here. I think it's time I take my leave." I stood up and stretched breaking the chains binding me. "Only been in here for a few, well, yearsbut I'm getting bored. I'm sure I'll be back someday, but today I'm gone." I smirked my eyes glowing red. I stepped up to the bars of the cell and grabbed two of them pulling them apart. I stepped out and leisurely walked out of the building. I looked around and crept into an alleyway. "No ones watching." I muttered to myself before performing some hand signs. "Transform." I whispered and my body's image became distorted before focusing itself again. I now had short brown hair parted neatly on the right side with two bangs framing the my face. I also had dark blue eyes and was now wearing a simple white t-shirt and a pair of black baggy pants. "Should take them awhile to recognize me." I walked out of the alley and almost instantly ran into the Konoha 12. Great just my luck!

"Hey watch where you're going!" Kiba shouted as I 'accidentally' ran into him.

"Oops." I said my annoyance showing in my voice. Guess you haven't changed. "My bad." I sarcastically replied letting a smirk come to my features. Apparently Kiba didn't like that, he turned to completely face me his face showing complete anger.

"What did you say to me?" He shouted and Akamaru jumped off his shoulder and stood in front of me growling.

"Tch, watch your mutt dog boy." I snarled and Kiba grabbed the collar of my shirt lifting me up, though my toes still touched the ground.

"What did you call me?" He asked and I smirked.

"You heard me, dog boy." It wasn't that much of an insult but he didn't seem to like it so...

"Kiba!" Ino shouted and Choji and Sasuke pried him off of me. "I'm so sorry about him he can get a little.... well you know." I nodded still smirking. My they haven't changed. I was hoping for some fun before I had to leave. Well you can't have everything.

"It's fine." I told them making my voice energetic, maybe I'll go for a different approach this time. You know act all happy and stuff. "Hi, I'm Akane Shinju!" I greeted giving them a fake name.

"I'm Ino! That idiot is Kiba."

"Hey!"

"That's Sakura, Sasuke, Choji, Shikamaru, Hinata." She kept on listing names but I stopped listening after she pointed at Hinata. Not like I need to know their names I'm well acquainted with them. Hinata, she seemed so sad. Whenever she visited me in... prison, she was happy. She wasn't sad, I could see the joy in her eyes even though she acted cold towards me. Why so sad butterfly? I love you. Realizing what I had just thought I could feel my face heat up, I stopped smirking and but my lip.

"Hey are you okay? You're face is turning red." Sakura told me concerned, well she is studying to be a medical ninja. She walked towards me and placed her hand against my forehead. "You're not hot," she muttered. "What are you staring at?" She turned around and saw that I was looking at Hinata. She faced me again and smirked. "Ooh, I get it." She got this mischievous look in her eyes and my own eyes widened.

"Please just, don't tell anyone." She nodded still smirking.

"Of course, I would never tell a soul."

"Never tell a soul what?" Neji asked narrowing his eyes.

"Oh nothing." Sakura responded though I could tell he didn't believe her. Despite that he dropped it not saying another word. "Anyways Akane wanna get food with us? We were just heading out to get some barbecue." I opened my mouth to answer but at that moment my stomach growled. I closed my mouth and nodded my face bright red. Stupid stomach. Though barbecue does sound good. They gave me onigiri every day. After awhile the taste dulls. I wonder if they even tried making the onigiri, the first time I tried it it tasted like crap, still does. "Ha, well then cmon before your stomach protests any further." My face turned an even brighter shade of red and I nodded.

We entered the restaurant and sat down. Having already ordered everyone looked at me. "So Akane what brought you to Konoha? I mean I'm assuming you're new since I've never seen you here before." I wonder...

"Hmm? I'm not new, lived here my whole life. Though I guess I was just a lowly citizen and you are ninja. Besides I have an average face, people hardly ever remember me." I said my voice slowly becoming sadder. They exchanged glances looks of pity in their eyes.

"Oh... I'm sorry."

"It's fine. Anyways I wanted to be a ninja but..." I trailed off acting like I didn't want to talk about it.

"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to." I nodded and our food came. After everything that happened we sat eating in an awkward silence. No one dared to utter a word, well no one with a brain.

"So why didn't you become a ninja?" Kiba asked his mouth stuffed with food. Sakura hit him over the head silently scolding him.

"How does it feel lying to your friends all over again?" The voice asked, and though he was in my head for some reason he wouldn't hear me if I didn't answer out loud.

"Umm excuse me I have to go." I stood up and walked to the front desk paying for all of our meals. I walked out of the restaurant and headed home, well to my old home. I stood in front of the door. Wonder who loves here now. I sighed running a hand through my hair before walking away.

Siting down on a bench in the park I looked at all the kids around me. "They were never my friends." I responded and the voice let out a chuckle before going silent. "Great talk." I muttered stuffing my hands in my pockets. "Guess it's time I take my leave." I walked into a store grabbed a backpack and stuffed it with all of the basic necessities. You know water, food, extra clothes, then I grabbed some kunai and shuriken and put them in there as well. "Can't find any scrolls..." I muttered looking around. "Guess this'll do." I walked out of the store with the backpack on not bothering to pay.

I stood in front of the gate. "Goodbye Konoha. This time for good."
