Chapter 8.

When EXO was on variety shows, they still laughed, they were happy, but they always felt that something was missing. Your mom wasn't exactly happy either.

"See! I saw this coming," your mom smacks you with a book. "Now you're gonna be all sad! And you didn't listen to me! Ugh!" She gets up and pushes things off the table. "I knew you were a failure like your sister! Creating groups pointless as hell!!!!"

Wonshik and Hyuk gasped. They know that your sister and EXO are the two things that people cannot insult like that.

You glare at your mom.

"What? You got a problem?" She screams and you. Then she walks up to your dad and slaps him. "We just had to adopt stupid children!"

Wonshik angrily steps up. "Shut your damn mouth!"

Your mom looks at him, shocked. "What did you just say?"

"SHUT YOUR FREAKING GODDAMN MOUTH!!!"

Your mom throws a pair of scissors on Wonshik's face and it pokes him in the eye. "I dare you say that again."

Wonshik opens his mouth but Hyuk cuts him off before he could say anything. "Hyung," Hyuk's eyes become watery. "Please."

You and your brothers head to Wonshik's room.

"Guys..." you look at your brothers, "Let's move out. We have enough money to buy a house with expensive furniture, so we can just move in an apartment to save money."

Right after you finished your sentence, they started to pack everything that belongs to them.

A few months after you and your brothers moved out to an apartment, EXO was still crazy famous. You walk in a studio and started scrolling through social media. A while later, EXO barges in the studio.

"Woah guys... what's going on..."

They look at you, hopeless, teared up, and hurt.

"Lu Han left."

You just stare at EXO.

"Guys... stop joking...."

"[y/n], we're not joking."

You collapse on the ground.

You dribble across the field and takes a shot. The ball swishes through the net.

"I'm getting better at this," you say as you run to your water bottle.

"You are."

You turn around. "Who are you?"

"I've been watching you play for a long time. Are you in club?"

"My mom doesn't want me to play sports but soccer is my favorite sport, so I just practice on my own."

"Wow..." he looks at you. "Hey, wanna practice together in the future?"

"Haha, sure. What's your name?"

"Lu Han, you?"

"Wait!" You grab Lu Han's arm. He turns around and looks at you.

"Yeah?"

"Are you actually gonna be an idol?"

"Yeah! Why not? I'll get to see you a lot and make some new friends," he smiles.

"Thanks Lu." You two hug.

"I finally got all 12 members!" You cheerfully run up to Lu Han.

"Good job! So far I've only met half of the members, but I'm so excited!"

"This is my first time doing something like this though... do you think it'll be good?"

"Of course! EXO is gonna be the new legendary group! I believe in you. It's gonna be awesome!"

(Night before Lu Han left)

"Hey, [y/n], can we spend some time alone tonight?" Lu Han asks me after hanging out with EXO.

"Sure, I guess."

Lu Han and I went to the places where we had our first kiss, took our first picture, and where we went on our first date. We ran around, chased each other, tackled each other, and talked about old memories.

"Hey [y/n]," Lu Han says before dropping me off at my house.

"Ye?"

"I love you."

"Hehe, I love you too."

Lu Han pulls me into a hug for a really long time. Then, he kissed me on the forehead and hugged me for a longer time.

"Bye, [y/n]. I love you."

"Bye!!!"

I walked in my apartment wondering why Lu Han was so attached today.

And you found out why.

"So that's why he was acting like that..." you cry while hugging Sehun.

"So EXO is 10 right now..." Chanyeol looks down.

"And we have to prepare for the new comebacks and MV shootings...." Baekhyun sighs.

You look over and see that Junmyeon's eyes were swelling and he's in his phone. You quickly pull away from Sehun and pull out your phone. All over the internet, people were blaming him.

"Worst leader ever.... he's just gonna let 2 members leave?"

"Maybe This wouldn't have happened if there was a better leader..."

You and Sehun look at each other than at Junmyeon. You two run up to him and hug him.

"Guys... I'm so sorry." You look at EXO. "I never thought this would happen.... but EXO12 became incomplete. My worst nightmare came true."
