In two different hospitals, almost 3000 miles apart, two very different children were born. But not too different, as it seemed. Because immediately following the birth of Leo Alexander, Juliette and Thomas Alexander decided to move all the way to Bodega Bay California. Also known as the place Ophelia Chase was born.
They seemed like complete opposites, with Ophelia's bright blonde hair, light complexion and endless smile compared to Leo's tan skin tone, dark hair, and deafening sarcasm. Many said it was a euphemism for their personalities. They just said it was who they were. They were best friends, lovers, and enemies all at once. The ones from Way Back When.
The story of a boy who falls for a girl.
"If I tell you a secret, you promise not to tell Ophelia?"
"Um sure."
"No you really have to promise!"
"If I do will you go home and sleep this off?"
"Yes."
"Ok."
"I think I'm in love with her."
And how she unsurprisingly falls back.
"Dammit Leo, I'm sick of waiting for you! I'm done. I can't keep watching you fall for someone else when I'm right here, in love with you!"
"What the fuck are you talking about Ophelia? I've been in love with you for four years!"
