Forever

Miley is finally home. Things are hard but Liam is trying a lot to make it work. Miley isn't talking very much. She spends her days watching TV and listening to music. They're barely walking.

- Miles, what do you want me to cook for dinner?

She makes a weird face.

- I can cook, today

Liam's face lightens

-You do?

-Yeah sure.

Liam smiles as Miley gets up. She goes to the kitchen. She is preparing the stuff that she'll need.

-You know Liam....

-What?

-I...I have to talk to you...

She seemed  serious.

-Tell me.

-I just...Don't think that..That we can make this work.

-What are you talking about?

Her eyes are full of tears as she is trying to speak.

-I can't do this any more! I cannot.... I'm broken! can't you see? I can't fix that!  It will never be the same! Never!! It's OVER. that's IT.

Liam was shocked. He was hitting the wall trying to calm down.

He was repeating that he was sorry several times. He put his head in his hands.

-Don't Liam... Don't, please! I can't do this anymore!

Liam hugs her despite what she was saying. She stays in his arms and they are both crying.

-I won't let anything happen to you, ok? Look at me. Here! You deserve to live okay?

-But I don't want to! I have nothing! I destroy everything around me and I don't want anything bad happen to you!

He wiped the years off her eyes and started caressing her cheek.

Miley looked at his eyes. She then started realising how Liam was feeling. He was broken too. He seemed insecure and sad.

-Baby.... I'm sorry... I promise that I will never leave you, ok? It's always gonna be you and me. It's us.

He smiled.

They stayed on the floor hugging. There was a special bond between them at that moment.
