All of us were getting ready to head down to the beach. First I was trying to decide out of the many swimsuits Rydel and I bought, which ones we should wear.
“I like the color on the yellow one but I like the design on the hot pink one. What do you think?” I said looking at Rydel.
She shrugged her shoulders, “I dont know, I like both of them. What about mine? I like the purple one but I also want to wear my blue one with the cool design”
I looked over at her swimsuits. “Hmm….. I think the blue one, it looks really cute.” I said before going back to the bikinis on the bed.
Riker knocked on the door, “Is it safe to come in?” I walked over and opened the door. He came in and looked at us. “How long does it take for you to get ready? We’ve been waiting a good ten minutes and I have to drive Angel back to her house so she can get her stuff.”
“Sorry, but I cant figure out which one to wear.” I said pointing over at the stuff on the bed.
He sighed dramatically before walking over to the bed. “Geez…women and their clothes. Well since you want to wear the pink or yellow one, how about you wear the one thats tye-dyed BOTH colors?”
I looked at him confused, “which one are you talking about?”
He rolled his eyes and went to one of my bags in the closet. “I mean this one, the one you bought with mom when you first moved here.” He held up the bikini pieces with a pink and yellow spiral. It was CUTE!! How could’ve I forgotten about it. I ran over and grabbed it before running into the bathroom.
A few minutes I came running down the stairs with jean shorts and a denim sleeveless top on. Everyone was waiting in the living room for me and Rydel.
“Well finally! I thought by the time you were done, we’d be dead!” Angel said acting frustrated.
“Well, I didnt know what to wear and then finally Riker came in and showed me what I could wear. He has GREAT fashion sense. You’re lucky Angel, those type of guys are very rare.”
She smiled as she hugged Riker closely, “I know, I’m one lucky girl.”
“And I’m a really lucky guy to have such an amazing gal like Angel.” Riker said kissing her.
“Get a room.” Ryland said walking to the door.
“Dont be mean like that Ryland, I think thats very sweet of Riker to say something like that.” I said winking over at him and Angel.
“Can we go now?!” Ross asked eagerly.
I nodded before heading out the door.
We finally made it to the beach and me and the girls were laying in the sun while the boys played in the water.
“Have you seen anyone you like while being here in Cali?” I look over to see Brianna next to me.
“No, I’m not really looking for boys. I’m just really busy with my own thing.”
I wasn’t lying. I really had business to do. But, I’d be damned if I was going to tell anyone. Not even if they were my bestfriends like Riker or Rydel. Yes, over the months Riker and Rydel became my bestfriends. I looked over at Ross and saw a huge grin on his face as he joined in on the family fun. It was nice to actually see it instead of him gone all the time. I’m pretty sure his family is happy about that too. I know I was, now I dont have to worry about any if them hating my guts anymore.
“Hello, ang where’d you go?”
I shook my head out of my thoughts and realized Brianna was still talking to me.
