Chapter 19

Ang P.O.V.

"Angela, where have you been, what happened, why haven't you come home? Everyone has been worried sick. Ross cried his eyes out and starves him..."

"I'm well aware of what happened to Ross. No need to tell me anymore, I fixed that." I said to Brianna, not wanting to break down.

"Well, why?" she asked.

I sighed before telling her everything. I told her about my parents dying, how HE raised me, being a hitman, getting the Lynchs as my target, adoption clinic, meeting the family, falling in love with Ross, and finally running away.

At the end, Brianna was freaking out. " Oh my gosh, oh my gosh! What are we going to do?! Those people are going to try and kill us all! I'm too young to die!!" She was pacing around the room.

"Brianna calm down, I'm not going to let that happen." I said looking at her and Angel.

Angel looks at the other side of the room and does a double take. "Ang is this....is this all the video footage from places around California?" She asked pointing to where a bunch of computers were.

"No, just some of the places Ross and his family visit and street light cameras on the way to those places."

Brianna started laughing silently, "That sounds kind of stalkerish don't you think?"

I laughed along with her, "Now that you mentioned it, yes it kind of does. But, I'm doing it to make sure nothing bad happens."

"How do you get this? It's private footage, only the owners of the cameras get this. You know, the government and stuff." Angel said.

I laughed silently at her, "Angel, I was raised to be a hitman, next thing to a spy. I think I can get some footage very easily. "

"Well, what if something happens at the Lynch's house without you knowing?" Brianna asked.

I smirked at her before heading to my cabinet. "That's why you're here," I pulled out a few cameras and put them in a duffle bag, "when you two are alone, you're going to put the cameras in and outside the house."

"All of the rooms?" Angel asked.

"Just the main rooms like the living room, kitchen, and the bedrooms. Do not forget about the outside! Thats very important, back and front yard. They need to be hidden and secure so they don't see them."

I handed the duffle bag to Brianna. "Wait, will we see you again?" She asked heading towards the door.

"Yes, but first you have to do this. Don't get caught and Angel," she turned to me, "you might want to go back to the hospital. Riker is waiting."

"Wait, what?! How do you know?" she asked shocked and confused.

I pointed to one of the computer screens that showed Ross' hospital room and Riker waiting. "Told you, I'm prepared for anything."

Angel nodded before they walked out the door. I made sure they got around the corner safe before going back in my room. Before I could shut the door, someone stopped it and barged in. Once I got a good look at who it was, I was shocked.

"Mia?! What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to talk some sense into you."

"I don't think you coming here will change my mind on anything. If anything, someone needs to talk some sense into YOU."

She sighed, "Ang, no matter what you do, Dad will find a way to kill them."

"HE IS NOT OUR DAD!!!" I shouted causing her to flinch.
