Trevor
As soon as I noticed she was gone, I panicked. Yes, I know, it was somewhat irrational of me, but thinking that because her sister died here, there was a chance that she was unsafe, as well. I couldn’t shake the thought from my mind. I didn't want to continue on, with the mindset of "oh, she's fine." After all, she had screamed, hadn't she? When does that usually mean something's okay?
I ran into the clearing, hoping that – eventually – I would get to her before she died. It was a long shot, but I figured it was still worth it. I stopped at the edge, exactly where I was standing when I found Achlys. There was Angel, propped against the tree. Her eyes were closed, her hair hanging into her face.
“Angel!” I said, running over and kneeling down next to her. “Angel, what happened?”
She shook her head. Obviously she had more mobility than her sister had at this point, because she could still move. I’m not sure exactly what happened, but Angel was almost as weak.
"Angel, please talk to me," I begged. "You have to say something. Please."
"Trevor," she muttered. "It was him." Then, she went silent.
