Olivia's Point Of View

The banging on the door of the apartment 201, of Manchester, New Hampshire was loud enough to wake the dead, but not a single noise was encouraged from the single bedroom residence. "Open up its the police!", The head police officer called out. One nod from him and the squad enters the premises. Nine men and one female dressed in the navy blue uniform waited silently for that nod. Early this morning we were contacted for a disturbance in apartment 201, gun shots were heard inside. A next door neighbor was worried when a man brought a female home around two P.M. drunk, drinking like the war was ending, spilling out obscenities, waking him. The single was given, everything was in slow motion. The boots of the police were all the existing noice heard as we rushed into the area. Every man had their guns raised waiting to see the man with a fire arm. "Ashton, Calum, " The chief nodded towards the bathroom, my co-workers nodded and made their way to the bathroom. "Olivia, Tyler, " We got directed to the bedroom. Tyler lead the way down the hallway on the right to the bedroom. The sound of boots was followed by, "clear." from male officers was heard throughout the household. My job as a police- officer was thrilling, and that's why I loved it, craving something that made my heart beat. Making our way into the room, Tyler let me go inside first. I took a inhale larger than a boulder, and as heavy as one, closed my lids and let out my boulder, and lifted my lashes, then went inside with my arm extending out holding my gun. Automatically my eyes switched towards the girl tied up to the king bed into the middle of the room. A Caucasian female around the age of Twenty with green eyes and blonde hair covered in blood that was spilling from her neck, were a slice was placed. Tyler followed behind and emerged inside. Her black lingerie was covered in crimson red. "We got something." Tyler shouted and another man in a uniform came inside. Watching him come inside I turned to face the body of the girl, everything was in slow motion once again. I made my way to the left side of the mattress and there on the floor was a man, around six foot with blonde hair passed out on his stomach with his face resting towards the bed. A lipstick stain smeared on his cheek, and a gun resting in his palm.

A forensics team were lead inside the room. They examed the body and placed it inside a body bag after another girl took photographs of the scene. The mans pulse was taken, "he's alive." a man with glasses said. I grabbed his right bicep and Tyler grasped the left and we clasped a pair of hand cuffs on him while a man put the gun into a evidence bag. A pair of eyes sprung open looking me in the eyes, startled I let out a scream. The man followed my scream with one of his own. "Olivia, if you cant get your emotions under control you aren't coming to the next house raid." Tyler said. Placing the bottom of my palm on my forehead I calmed myself. "Sir were placing you under arrest for murdering Ashley Brunette." Tyler yanked him to his feet while I stared at the man. "I got this." I said, because I need to redeem myself for screaming, I took the tall guy out into the hall way. "What happened?" He asked voice so horse I almost didn't understand him. "There was a report, that gunshots were heard from your apartment sir, We found that girl you killed on your bed, so we are placing you under arrest for awhile." my words came out politely. "What the actual fuck. I didn't even fucking touch her." He said clear this time, his voiced raised. "Sir, we will find out if-" I was cut short. "I refuse to get in the back of the fucking police car, because I didn't do shit." He stated as I opened the door of Tyler's cop car. "Want me to sit back there with you?" My sarcastic reply shot him with bewilderment. "Are you allowed to do that?" I knew i wasn't allowed to do that. "Yea i am, get in and ill get in with you and shut the door for us." he nodded his messy blonde hair and obeyed. He scooted in to the window, and i shut the door not going through with my words. He started yelling from the inside of the car. The reason police are not allowed to sit beside the person getting prosecuted is because, today most officers carry some type of semiautomatic handgun in 9MM, .40 or .45ACP caliber. "Thanks Liv", see you back at the police department." "Yea anytime." Tyler got inside the car and shut the door so i made the decision id go back to work. Stalking to my car, I thought about the girl who was murdered on the white sheets. Her name was Ashley, she certainly was pretty. To think about it, i wonder if the man did kill her. I mean just because he said he didn't, dosnt meam hes telling the truth. Something about his words made me think he did not commit the crime. Or maybe it was his eyes, the blue in them told me his words were the realist thing anyone could ever bare to hear. I will probably be the one investigating this case due to the fact i had found the murderer, and the body.
