Riley's P.O.V.
Today was the day I was moving.With Justin. "Riley come down here so you can eat something," Pattie shouted from downstairs. I looked in the mirror one last time and headed downstairs. "Hey," I sang happily. "Someone seems to be happy," she chucked.
"Yea I finally get to see a family member that loves me," I took a bit out of my apple. "Riley," she gave me a serious face. "Sorry," I shrugged my shoulders.
"Hey mom," Justin said coming into kitchen and kissed her cheek. "Hi sweetie,"
"Hi Riley,"
"Hey Justin," I smiled. "Ready?" he asked me.
"Yea let me just go get my bags," I cleaned my hands. "Nah I got it," he instead.
"Alright there outside your room,"
"I know." he grabbed our bags and put them in front of the door.
"Alright looks like I'm going," I grabbed my phone from the counter top and headed to the door. "Riley wait!" Pattie stopped me. "Hmm?" She hugged me tightly I hugged back.
"If you ever need anything.. just call me. okay?" I nodded my head. "Thank you for everything," I took my bag and went to the car. I was loading my stuff as Justin was saying his goodbyes to Pattie. Pattie finally let go and Justin put his things in the back and hopped in his seat.
"You gonna get in the car?" he chuckled.
"Yea just taking a moment.." I waved bye to Pattie again and entered the car.
"Everything from today on is gonna be better than the past Riley, okay" I nodded. He started the car and drove away, I put my hand on the window as my eyes started to sting.
