WORK BUILDING
10:43 AM"No." I spoke, answering my coworkers' questions.
"Yeah, I guess. Mhm. Okay. Sure. No. No." I spat out at them, groaning, eyes burning with exhaustion. I rubbed them rapidly, yawning and quietly complaining to myself.
George had kept me up all night. All the vivid memories had clouded my mind like a storm since I left his apartment late at night, around 2 am. 3 hours straight.
He's wild.
He had me feeling all sorts of ways I've never felt before. Although we never actually 'did it' yesterday, it was still an amazing night. I can't believe I'm actually thinking this, but,
I want more.
From him.
And him only.
Of course, my guilty conscience hasn't decided to step in at all and stop anything, probably because I had kept it away, locked up and stored somewhere in my head. With the help of some alcohol at 3 in the morning. And 6.
Thanks for the introduction to it, George.
What I believed was a little weird was the fact that he kinda refused to take off his sweatpants. I tried tugging at them twice, but he'd just push my arms back and pin me to the bed. It was just a night of pleasuring me, I guess.
Maybe he really did have a small heat-seeking moisture missile.
I stifled a laugh, and covered my mouth. My coworkers shot me looks of confusion. That's when I noticed, Daniel wasn't here. He had never missed a day of work before. My laugh faded as I pulled out my phone, and stood. I gave my coworkers a signal, letting them know I was excusing myself before I stepped out of the room. I walked into one of the empty meeting rooms reserved for big, important meetings and pressed the call button on Daniel's contact.
It rang for what seemed like hours, before he finally picked up.
Neither of us said a word.
"Daniel?"
Nothing.
"Where are you?"
The line on the other side cut off. He hung up. I removed my phone from my ear, and stared at it, shook.
"What the hell? Who the hell does he think he is?" I mumbled as I tapped the call button on his contact again. It rang till it reached his voicemail.
I called twice more, he didn't answer. I'll call once more.
If he doesn't pick up..
"Hello?" A female voice comes through the phone. I stood there, even more shocked than before. I tried to form the right words together in my head, but they just wouldn't come out of my mouth.
"Anyone there?" The female voice spoke again, a bit more aggressive.
I hung up and looked through my contacts to find George's number. I called him and walked towards the entrance of the building.
"Hey (y/n)-" George picked up on the second ring.
"George, can you come pick me up at my work? I need to get to Daniel's, like right now." I cut him off. My voice sounded very monotone over the phone.
"Of course, I'm on my way. I'm about three minutes away." He replied hesitantly after hearing Daniel's name.
I hung up on the call quickly, waiting impatiently for him to get here. A million thoughts crossed my mind about the calls. I knew that was Daniel's phone, but why did that girl pick up?
