"So Faith was being really weird today."

It had been a total of 24 hours since Aria had agreed to start things again between us, and I couldn't have been any happier; I had the girl of my dreams, back in my life...hopefully for good. She was in my arms, relaxed and happy, and I was basking in the fact that we finally had each other.

    "Yeah? How?"

"I don't know...she keeps saying that there's drama going on, but I don't ever see it...I guess she means the fact that we're together again? But I don't understand it, because we've only been together for a day now, and we were together for a long time before...it's not like she had some kind of claim over you."

"I would hope not, since I interacted with her for a total of five minutes." I laughed, "I mean, if that's what she thinks it takes to get a guy, she's in for a rude awakening."

Aria giggled, a sound that made me over the moon.

"You're right." She nodded, "I don't know. I guess I shouldn't worry about it, since it's not like Faith was a great friend to begin with. She was more of just a random girl at dance class."

"Speaking of great friends, how are Leslie and Lindsey? Have you told them about us?"

"I told them, and they're overjoyed." Aria nodded, "I don't think that they've ever been so in love with a couple."

    "You're lying, aren't you?" I smirked.

"A little bit." Aria admitted, "They're happy about it, though. They like you, for the most part."

"I'm glad." I laughed, "For the most part."

Aria smiled and snuggled in closer, closing her eyes as I checked my phone, seeing that I was missing a text from Emily.

I quickly typed out a response, pressing send and tucking my phone into my pocket.

It took barely two seconds for a response to arrive back, and I pulled my phone back out, muttering a quick apology to Aria for moving her around so much

I crinkled my brow, slightly confused; it wasn't like Em to be so short with her responses; she was usually energetic and into everything. I shrugged to myself and tucked my phone back into my pocket without replying.

    "Is everything okay?" Aria asked.

"Yeah. It was just Em asking if I wanted to see a movie tonight. I told her I was with you."

I expected to get some kind of positive reaction from her for that, but instead I received a quick whip around to face me.

    "What?"

    I was immediately confused.

"Are you mad?" I asked, "I told her I couldn't, it wasn't even a question..."

"Brenden, sweetheart," Aria began, and I knew that it was going to be something terrible if she used the word "sweetheart", "What time is it?"

    I checked my watch.

    "10:28."

"Right." Aria nodded. "AM or PM?"

    "PM."

"Exactly. Now why would a girl, no matter if she was your best friend or not, be trying to hang out with you beginning at 10:28 PM? I would understand if you had been out since seven and it was coming to a close, but going out at 10:28 PM? Why?"

"Ar, I'm sure she didn't want anything like that."

    Aria shrugged.

"If you say so." She turned back around, but there was a certain tension between us when she did. "Be careful please."

"Of course." I nodded. "For you, anything."
