It was a rare occasion to celebrate such a thing, but on this day. Everyone seem to forgot, even your best friend. Just casually walking down the path, you kept wondering why. Robbie of all people should know, hell he practically eats cake every now and than. But this was your day, this town you once called home. Your friends..how could they forget..did he too forget as well. It didn't matter, a birthday was a birthday and it was going to end by the end of the night. Upon hearing some footsteps you noticed your friend. Grumbling under his breath, you wondered what was the problem now.

"Robbie, what's wrong?"

"It's Sportaflop, he's always messing my plans."

"And what plans were they?"

"You know.." he kicked a rock as it banged against the wall while his arms wiggled in the air. Walking around like it the end of the world. To be honest he should act more often. "Ruining my naps plans that's what. By the way, you seem..upset?" course he would noticed, but you didn't want to say anything of what today was.

"Just fine..good luck with your nap, Robbie." with that you walked away from him. Robbie began to scratched his head, tapping his toe he could of sworn something was today. But what, maybe cake would help his problem.

Hearing the sounds of the children, playing you watched them. Sitting on the bench you were, soccer was on of there favorite. Stephanie passing the ball to Ziggy while Pixel was blocking the ball. Stingy only messing with his piggy as Trixie was yelling at him to stop Ziggy from passing. passing through. It was a fun game, each tied down, but when time has passed. All the children gather around and whispering to each other. It was time for you to go, back to your home, alone. Probably eating ice cream and watching sappy movies til the end of the night. You turned to walked back home, the sounds of the clouds coming in, grey as they were. Rain began to fall, great. You didn't bother hurrying home, the rain felt good against your face, it was soothing to say the least. You figure hiding under an oak tree, till the rain passes would place to wait. So you ran to that very tree, yet when you got there, sitting down on the ground. It was beautiful to say the least. Hugging your knees, letting the bits of water drip down your face. You just watched, today has never been the worst day of your life, you weren't happy and you were kind of upset. Did they even care? Without even knowing, you softly began to cry to yourself. The sound of rain pounding down even harder, you couldn't care less.

"________..." that voice, could it be? You looked up, staring at him. His eyes, those ice blue eyes you grown to know so well. His hat was no longer there as you can see his ears twitch. You lowered your eyes, his crystal was glowing, of course, he was here, because of his crystal. Figures.

"I..I want to be..alone, Sportacus." he never moved from his spot, only kept looking down at you. He saw you were shivering under the weather, he knew you were going to be sick if you didn't get home and keep warm. You looked away from him, hopefully he would get the message. Sportacus' moostache twitched a little, he than kneeled down to your level, his hand reached out and grabbed your hand. You looked at him in confusion, he than moved his other hand to the inside of his vest, pulling out was non other than a simple box, tied in a bright blue bow while the box itself was dark blue. Did he..

"I hope you like it." he placed it in your hand. Letting go of your hand, you began to opened the tiny box, letting the ribbon slip from your fingers. Lifting the top of the box, looking inside you saw it was non other than a tiny pebble. Yet when it hit against the light, it started to change color, like a rainbow. It was beautiful and you looked up at him, he only smiled at you.

"It's beautiful, Sportacus." Sportacus only leaned himself closer, his lips attached to yours as all you could do was return the kiss, you knew you had feelings for him, but you didn't know he ever felt the same, let alone kiss you unexpected. You leaned yourself forward, his ears twitched a bit more, causing himself to purr a little. You only broke the kiss, giggling away, as he rubbed his nose against yours.

"Happy Birthday, ___________." you only kissed him once more.

"Was this another gift or did you just like me, like me?" it was now Sportacus turn to chuckled. He pulled himself up, picking you up as he walked through the rain. You didn't know where he was taking you, but you felt warm in his arms.

"I've always like you..I just didn't know how to express myself and I figure this was the chance to do it." it wasn't long, till you saw a house, it was..Stephanie's place..you wondered why that place. Before you knew it, the door opened as everyone started cheering, saying

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY _____________!!~" Sportacus set you down as you only covered your mouth. Everyone remembered? You couldn't believe it, everyone was here even..Robbie. Sportacus began to dry himself off with a towel as he placed it on you, brushing the hair out of your face while he dried you off. You thanked him, before looking at everyone.

"But..I thought-"

"You thought what, we would forget about your birthday?" Trixie spoke up, causing you to slightly nod.

"There's no way we would forget about our favorite person, we aren't that lazy to remember." Ziggy spoke, causing you to giggle.

"We are sorry if we made you feel this way, __________ we didn't want to ruin the surprise." You were dumbfounded.

"So all this time, you were pretending to forget about my birthday, even Robbie?!" Robbie began to approached you, his hand rubbing the back of your neck.

"Indeed, it was the only way for you not to know." feeling a little guilty you punched him on the shoulder.

"That's for making me upset, Robbie Rotten. But you are still my best friend." you hugged him softly as he awkwardly return the hug.

"Now who wants some cake?"

Watching the rain falling down still, you were sitting by the window while everyone was talking. Parties aren't your thing, but it was still nice, the gifts were wonderful, though you didn't really care about them. The friends here, made you feel well happy. Not only that, even the hero of this town like you for you. Feeling someone sitting behind you, his arms were wrapped around, you leaned your back against his chest, looking up at him. Sportacus leaned himself down and peck your lips.

"How is your birthday so far?"

"Never better." you leaned up and kissed him once more. This truly was a birthday you would never forget.
