Ella's POV

"Okay class, open up your textbooks to page 164 and start reading until you get to the questions on page 168. Once you finished the questions you may start your homework or work on anything else." Mrs. Swansan, my science teacher, told us.

I felt my phone buzz in my pocket so I sneakily checked it. A text message from Morgan appeared on my phone.

(M: Morgan, E: Ella)

M: Hey come to the bathroom I need to tell you something ASAP

E: Texas crematorium you kill 'em, we grill 'em. Who is this?

M: XD DUDE! A teacher just walked in the bathroom and I'm trying not to die of laughter rn

E: XD IM IN CLASS STOP MAKING ME LAUGH

M: Just get in here plz

I raised my hand and waited to be called on. "Can I use the restroom?"

Mrs. Swanson sarcastically replied, "I don't know, can you." I hate it when teachers do that.

"May I use the restroom." She nodded and I left the class.

I walked into the bathroom and saw Morgan picking food out of her teeth. "Did you need something?" I asked.

"No, I'm just bored." She went back to staring at her reflection.

"Seriously! I left class for this! Mrs. S. is going to have my head if I don't get back soon. I do not have time for this- I'm sorry. I'm just really angry right now."

"Sah," Morgan said with a terrifyingly straight face.

"I'm outta here." My anger had gotten the best of me. I was just to emotional from my meetup with Brooklyn that sadly I couldn't help myself. I walked back to class and sat in complete boredom until lunch time.

Ah yes, lunch time. The most awkward of the times for Brooklyn and I because we didn't want everyone else to know what had been going on between; to top of the cake she was basically avoiding me every time we had period together.
