_____________________________________________________________________________ At sunrise Edd awoke first. He laid snuggled and warm, he thought he was lying in a big bundle of pillows. He scanned the walls with his foggy eyes, sport posters covered the walls. Then it hit him, he was in Kevin's room, and he wasnt laying with pillows but with Kevin. He started to panick 'Maybe I can just sneak out without him realizing it.' He thought. As soon as he attempted to wiggle free, Kevin tightened his grasp onto Edd. Edd cautiously turned to face Kevin, his worries soon evaporated as he admired the looks of his boyfriend. He reached up and trace Kevin's defined cheek bones. As they were much more prominant than they were a few years ago. Even asleep he looked fierce Edd thought, but magnificint: like a lion, vicous but beautiful. He traced just above his eyebrows, running through the thick hairs there. Kevin twitched, that startled Edd. After a minute or two Edd resumed tracing Kevin, just before Kevin spoke.

"Edd.......What are you doing?" He asked calmly, without opening his eyes. Edd felt a loss of words. What was he doing? He surly wouldnt tell him he was being marveled by his beauty.

"N....nothing." Edd replied quietly. He almost thought Kevin fell back asleep, until he tightened his grip even more putting them chest to chest. Kevin rested his chin ontop Edd's head.

"Sure didnt feel like nothing." He responded after what felt like half a hour. When Kevin twitched his chin, Edd realized his beanie was gone. That sent a rush of adrenaline through his veins. He quickly sat up and rolled off the bed. He instinctivly grabbed Kevin's hat and put on his head. Feeling nervous withough somthing covering his hair. Edd searched the room, but couldn't find his beanie. Once his eye returned to Kevin he saw the red head smirking at him. Edd frowned as he didnt find what seem to amuse Kevin so dearly.

"Aheem...and what has you so amused Kevin, if I may ask?" He glared at Kevin. His comment caused the red head to chuckle.

"You, dork." He explained. "You with my hat on, I never thought I'd ever see you with it on. Looking hot Double D." He complimented. Edd felt the heat rush to his face.

"Where in the heavens would my beanie be located!" He grew agitated.

"Why do you need your beanie dork?"

"According to a rule book that I do not see, I don't have to explain myself to yooou!" He said with attitude. Kevin's smirk grew even wider. " I'm glad you're gratified by this!" He exclaimed. Kevin reached beneath the comforter and revealed Edd's beloved beanie. "KEVIN!!, GIVE THAT BACK!" Edd pounced ontop of Kevin within a heart beat. Before he could grasp the beanie, Kevin pulled him underneath the comforter. Kevin rolled ontop of Edd and smiled down at him. "Kevin please!! you are approximated 45 pounds heavier than I am! You are triturating me!! Remove yourself this instant!" He declared. The only reaction he recieved from Kevin was a giggle. Edd started becoming dramatic, acting as if he was being suffocated. He gasped for air.

"You're quite the actor Double Dork." He smirked and laid ontop of Edd."Just chill dude, it won't kill ya to not have the beanie on." He took his hat and ran his fingers through Edd's hair.

Edd's POV -

How embarrasing, Kevin is playing with my unprepossessing hair. I'm sure by now I'm as red as a cherry. Looking up to Kevin, he doesnt seem to mind my unimpressive hair, actually he looks to be enjoying himself.

"Double D, your hair is beautiful, you shouldn't hide it beneath that beanie all the time." He commplimented. Taken by surprise my lips parted. I don't know how to respond. Having Kevin playing in my hair is actually very soothing. I close my eyes and just enjoy the feeling.
