Unknown Love Ch. 9

Amy's P.O.V.

I nod slowly and then Matt grabs my hands.

"You'll see her soon, I promise." Matt says.

"I know that I will, it's just...it hurts." I reply.

Matt pulls me towards him and he hugs me gently so I hug him back. While we hugged, there was no talk between us and I was grateful for that. After the hug, I grabbed his hand and led him down the hall.

"If I stay here any longer, I think I might start crying." I say truthfully.

I walked into my room with Matt following right behind me. I pushed him towards the bed and he began folding the rest of the clothes that sat on the bed. I went to the dresser and opened a drawer and I looked up at the photo of mom and dad...I noticed a note sitting by the photo. I grabbed it and saw that the envelope was addressed to me in Anna's handwriting. I opened the envelope up and grabbed the paper. 

"What's that?" I hear Matt ask.

"I don't know but it's something from Anna." I tell him.

I opened the letter up and began to read it. 

Amy:

I know that until we meet again, it will be difficult for you. Not having me around made you upset. But I need you to be strong...stay strong for Matt, your mate. He needs you and you need him. Please remember that I will always love you and that I will always be there for you.

I reread the letter once more before closing it and placing it back in the envelope. A couple of tears came down from my eyes and I felt someone embracing me from behind. I knew it was Matt so I turned in his arms and hugged him back. 

After the hug, I looked at him. "Let's hurry up and pack so we can get out of here." I tell him.

He nods his head, kisses me on the lips and heads back over to the bed. I smile a little, maybe one day I can laugh at this day and realize how badly I clung to my twin. I take a quick glance at Matt and then I turn back to the dresser and just quickly started putting things in the bag. I wanted to get out of here quickly because it brought a lot of great memories and I didn't want to start breaking down and cry again. 

Soon, everything was in the bags and I was doing a last minute check making sure I wasn't going to forget anything that I wanted. I saw that Matt was talking to someone on the phone and he notices that I'm staring at him. After he hung up, he looked at me.

"I was calling a ride." He tells me.

"What, like a cab?" I ask.

He chuckles. "Something like that. It's actually a friend of mine who will be coming to pick us up." He says.

I hear someone knock on the door. 

"Is that him?" I questioned.

I see that Matt smells something in the air. 

"Several friends of mine are here. I guess their really eager to meet their future Luna." He says.

I watch as he walks out the room but then he comes back in and looks at me.

"You coming with?" He asks.

I just nod my head and walk up to him. I grab his hand.

"Matt, just to let you know, if they break anything of mine, I'm kicking their asses." I say.

"I'll make sure to let them know that." He tells me.
