We're going out to Eat

Tylers pov 

Making (our way downtown) our way down the stairs I held Ethans hand tighter in fear of falling down the stairs, the image came to mind. Me tripping and bringing Ethan down on top of me probably breaking both our backs in the process. I squeezed his hand "Ethan," I chuckled "slow down buddy, we have all night." He only smiled as we reached the bottom of the steps. Grabbing our coats I handed his to him and put mine on. Walking over I interlocked our hands together as we made our way past the living room door. Only to be stopped by Mark 

"Where are you two going?" Mark yelled from the couch. Freezing I stayed put, coming up with a quick response "Just out to eat!" I could hear his footsteps approach the open door and I quickly let go of Ethans hand wheeling around to face the questioning Mark. "uh-huh" he said skeptical looking between the both of us. Looking over to EthanI raised my eyebrows and  searched his eyes asking him to back me up. He cleared his throat "Yeah" he said confidently as he grabbed my hand. "Just out to eat" he replied his mouth twisted in a small smile and his chin jutted out proud. 

A smile quickly spread across Marks face as he looked at us. Turning his head to me he winked "Stay safe you two" I could feel a blush quickly spread across my face and neck. Tugging at my hand Ethan led us to the car. Climbing inside I gripped the steering wheel still processing everything that happened. "Why did you do that?" I asked Ethan as he climbed in next to me. He shrugged as he put on his seat belt  "I mean they would of found out either way right?" He paused choosing the words to say next "Like if our relationship ever escalated to having sex" I could feel my face burn "Ethan" I said embarrassed. 

"What?" he said looking back at me "I mean the walls are so thin they would here us-" I held up my hands so silence him "Okay, Okay! I get it!" 

"What?" he said a teasing grin on his face. He leaned forward closer "Am I making you uncomfortable" He whispered his eyebrows raised. Shifting I pulled out the keys from my pocket and began to back up the car. "Aw" he whined "C'mon Ty" forcing down a smile I stopped the car looking dead into his eyes looking up and down his face slowly leaning forward our faces merrily an inch apart. I could hear his breath hitch and feel it on my lips. Looking into his eyes once more I whispered "Your just going to have to wait baby boy"before  I leaned back driving fully out of the driveway and towards Ethans favorite pizza shop. Smiling ever so often at Ethans jokes and singing during the car ride there. 

TIME SKIP 

Getting settled into the booth I looked up at Ethan "So what are you going to eat?" I asked taking a sip of my water

He paused giving the menu a once over scrunching up his face ever so often before looking up back up his face blank 

"Your dick" He deadpanned 

I nearly spit out my water "I-i um-m" 

He giggled. Which escalated to laughing at my expression. He wheezed "I---Really" wheeze "Got you didn't I?" he asked still laughing loudly catching the attention of the other people around us Flustered I cast him a look before laughing myself. Wiping the tears from my eyes we ordered, ate and went home. 

ON THE DRIVE HOME 

Walking to the door Ethan looked at me "I love you Tyler." bending down I pressed a kiss to his cheek "I love you too Ethan."
