Amy's pov 

After Mark and I (Kathryn included) talked over the phone about our plan, we ended the call and made our way across the store heading towards Tyler who was looking at the cereals. As we approached, it was Kathryn who spoke first "what are you doing?" She said with an impish smile 

Tyler glanced between us suspiciously. He seemed wary to talk "what" he started slowly narrowing his eyes "have you two been doing?" Pulling the best "innocent" face I could I turned towards the cereal idly pulling one off the shelf  "oh nothing, just talking to mark about the schedule" he nodded but didn't seem convinced. Kathryn joined in picking up my hint "we were!" 

Tyler held up his hands in defeat " alright, alright I believe you" he said returning to his task of reading the back of the cereal box. I looked over his shoulder "what ar ya doin?" 

"Checking for peanuts, Ethan said he saw this but didn't have time to check so I thought I'd do it for him" 

Kathryn and I shared a look. " dude." Kathryn laughed "that was like a MONTH ago." Tyler blushed as he fiddled with the cereal box "Yeah well..." He trailed off not finding the excuse he was looking for. "mhmm" I nodded with eyebrows raised. Walking past me he tossed it in the cart along with our other groceries. grabbing the cart he looked back and forth between us. "Well? Are we going home or are we just going to live in the cereal isle?" 

" welllll..." I said walking with him as we made our way to the check out " living in the cereal isle wouldn't be toooooo bad" I stated my arms wide to prove my emphasis on tooooo bad 

Kathryn smiled and Tyler just shook his head.

Tyler's pov 

After unloading  the groceries into the car I climbed into the drivers seat plugging the keys into the ignition. Amy climed  in after Kathryn into the backseat and they both had a certain smirk on their face. Oh no they definitely had some sort of idea in mind Looking at them in the mirror my brows furrowed "what are you guys planning?" 

Amy looked at Kathryn and Kathryn looked at Amy. 

"Well," Kathryn started with a giggle. Rolling my eyes I turned around in my seat. "Well...?" I promoted looking at them. She shook her head " so we have this idea to get you and Ethan together." Amy finished with a smile. I sighed shaking my head  "look-" 

"Eh eh eh!" Amy said holding up a finger "we're not done yet" 

I stayed quite as they explained. " this is how it'll start, we'll have roses delivered to Ethan's door in the morning. Later Mark will leave the office to you.  We'll be gone, our excuse for going out is dinner. During that time Mark and I" Amy said gesturing to herself "will come by and drop off a suit, and a radio you'll use this radio to serenade him while your in a suit! Then we'll have a-" I cut her off 

"As nice as the thought is Amy, I don't think that is EVER going to happen." 

She rolled her eyes. "Okay something more simple then?" 

I shook my head, annoyed " I don't think you get that I'm never going to ask Ethan out on a date." 

She was quite but I could tell her mind was at work "truth or dare? I mean we didn't want to do it at first seeing as it's super cliché and shit" " but if that works for you...."  She ended trailing off

I looked at the ground thinking "how about." I started weakly " we just go with roses for now" 

Amy clapped her hands and Kathryn hugged as much of me as she could seeing as I was in the front seat of the car. After the mini celebration I backed the car up began the drive home
