Double date

Ethan fiddled with the hem of his shirt nervously as he looked him self over in the mirror. "Are you sure this looks alright Amy?"
I sighed rolling over on the bed "for the millionth time Ethan, yes"
Ethan looked at the ground his mind in thought as he shifted from foot to foot.
I looked at him with my eyebrows raised already reading his mind.  "you look fine Ethan all right?" I said getting up from the bed to pat him on the shoulder. His eye brows furrowed. "How are you so comfortable with the at you look on a date?"
I smirked "Because I've been dating Mark for over a year, and I know he doesn't exactly give a shit about whether or not I wear makeup on a date."
Ethan pondered this "then why do you wear it?" I looked at him my hand on my hip.
"Woman don't wear makeup for men's approval, they also don't wear it because it makes them "look pretty", we wear it because we fucking like it." I said triumphantly. Ethan nodded and let out a sigh "God I can't believe I'm freaking out over this" He whined "I'm  being stupid" I rolled my eyes and nudged his arm playfully "Your not being stupid! Double date jitters are perfectly fine!"
But still, I sent a silent prayer to whoever was listening that Tyler wasn't a nervous mess like Ethan. That was the last thing we needed.

Tyler's pov
I couldn't seem to decide on which shirt to wear, and which cologne to use.
To hat, or to not to hat?
I groaned in frustration cursing the day I brought up double dating.
