Chapter 1

RiverFlower wakes up,and stretches adjusting her eyes to the bright den. She walks out of the den ready for morning patrol. "Good morning IceTail!Want to go on patrol with me and DapplePelt?"RiverFlower says. "Sure River sounds good."Icetail says. They walk with DapplePelt through the wet dark forest,looking around alert with ears perked forward."DapplePelt!I smell a mouse. I will catch it!"IceTail says. Icetail follows the delicious mouse scent creeping closer and closer,until IceTail was a few tail lengths away.The strong white tom gets in postition, and leaps through the air and catches the mouse. He holds the mouse in his paw and bites its little neck killing it. "Some fresh kill to take to the pile!"IceKit says exitiedly. They keep walking patroling the boarder and watching for anything supscious. They walk to the northern part of the boarder and DapplePelt and IceTail hear a loud hiss. Worried they whipped around to see,a big golden warrior tom sinking his claws into RiverFlowers furry back. She flips over now on top of the warrior,claws and fur flying!As she stands up and gets her balance he bites her neck...hard. She stats to feel dizzy but keeps fighting. She gives the tom and hard lashing claw strike on his face. The tom squeals loudly and runs away.She stands up and starts limping a big wound on her leg
