I finally got to my dorm room, which I shared with Lafayette who wasn't here yet. Which was pretty predictable, mostly because of the fact he always comes home late. He works at a nearby bakery. Pretty stereotypical if you ask me. Placing the mountain of homework down on my desk, I felt my phone make a slight vibration in my hoodie pocket. I checked to see who it was, none other than the French Baguette himself.

I read the text, "Oui Oui, Alex. I need to stay at the job for a couple more hours, I shall be there at about seven or eight. Don't burn down the room and don't eat my cereal." I rolled my eyes. Who would want his stupid cereal?

Me.

I walked to the kitchen. It was a pretty small one, nothing to get over excited about. Small counters, small sink, small everything practically. I opened the very first cabinet, where Laf hid his Frosted Flakes. "Aha." I smirked to myself and poured a big bowl of it just to get Marquis pissed at me.

As I crunched into the sugary cereal, I thought about that guy I had ran into earlier today. He was polite and seemed like a nice person to be around, I wish I had asked for his number or something. Well, I probably might see him again tomorrow.

He actually looked genuinely sorry when he bumped into me, I appreciated his kind offer to help me out. Even though I declined it, I appreciated it.

He wasn't too bad looking either, his name was John, right?

Alexander you have a girlfriend, stop. Besides, I'm not gay. I like women. What am I even saying?

My thoughts were interrupted with a loud knock on the door, I groaned and stood up to answer it. "Who is it?" I called out.

"Je'mappelle Lafayette." They heavy accented voice spoke.

"Aren't you supposed to be working?" I opened the door, Marquis had a cocky smirk as usual. He always thinks he's the embodiment of perfection. His smirk faded, which I became suspicious about.

"I got fired." He said seriously.
