Chapter 4: Beach Day!

Location: Joe and Joelle's room with Joe, Jonathan, and Josh

The next morning, Joe woke up and looked down at Jonathan and Josh. Despite Jonathan not wanting to share Jayla's air mattress with Josh the night before, they were both on it together, sound asleep. They had set up the mattress next to the left side of the bed. Joe sighed, shook his head, and grabbed his pillow to hit his cousins with it.

"Ugh... Yo what the heck, bluh?" Jonathan and Josh asked at the same time.

"Plain and simple, boys. Time to get up," Joe replied casually. "So um... what exactly made you two end up sharing the mattress anyway?"

"Well we talked when we were in here before you showed up. And the two of us actually decided that our argument was pretty stupid. So we sucked it up and shared the air bed together anyways," replied Jonathan.

"Aw how cute," Joe muttered sarcastically.

"Shut up, bruh." Josh hit Joe in the face with the pillow, causing Joe to hit him back. Then the three of them heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," said all three Samoans.

The door then opened, and in came Jayla and Joelle. Joelle ran to the bed while Jayla took off toward the air bed.

"Hey girls," Joe said with a smile after the girls had gotten themselves situated. "You guys have fun with Madison last night?"

"Yes Dad, we definitely did!" smiled Joelle.

"You have fun too, Jay?" Jonathan asked his daughter.

"Yes I did, Daddy."

Jayla, Jonathan, and Josh then left the room, leaving Joe and Joelle by themselves.

"Well Daddy is glad that you had fun last night, Jojo. What exactly did you guys do?"

"We talked for a little while about school and stuff, and then we watched a couple of shows on TV. After that, we finally fell asleep at about 10:40 or something like that," Joelle told her father.

Nodding his head, Joe replied, "Sounds fair enough. You guys are on school vacation after all, so you should get to stay up later. Are you excited for the beach today?"

"Yes I am, Dad. Are there gonna be any really big waves?"

"I don't know, baby girl. I guess we'll have to wait and find out. Want to put your swimsuit on and go have breakfast?"

"Okay!" Joelle took off for her suitcase, found her swimsuit, and changed in the bathroom. Then Joe looked for his and changed in the bathroom as well (see pictures above). After, the pair went downstairs to join everyone else.

At The Beach

A few hours later, the group had arrived at the beach. It turned out that it was about 15 minutes away from the beach house. After going in the water for a while, everybody had gotten out to have a quick picnic lunch. Now they were all back in the water.

"This is so much fun!" Koa cried out happily, running in the waves.

"Yes it is, Koa!" cried Joelle, doing some jumps in the air. Then Myritza noticed a really big wave approach everybody.

"Guys, look at this wave coming," she said, pointing at it. "It's a big one! LOOK OUT!!!"

Before anyone knew what to expect, the wave got closer and knocked almost the whole family to the ground!
