Folsom Prison Blues Part One

(Rocky's P.O.V)

It was hard to explain how it felt, how it felt to just finally be sitting still, it was so damn nice, but that didn't mean that my brothers were going to let that continue on. Dean and Sam had been gone all night and Bella and I have been taking as much of advantage of it as possible. We didn't know what was going on with Dean and Sam but it was defiantly something. I wasn't one to worry because I finally was getting the rest that I needed. There were a few cases we worked, but they were back to back and Bella and I normally don't do cases like that. We weren't used to it; but Sam and Dean were.

I heard the engine of a vehicle pull in and knew that the boys had by now probably found a case, or something suspicious enough to draw enough attention. Either way both Bella and I knew that our five hours of rest were over and we were back out on the field for another round. There was just no telling what it was going to be now. I woke up Bella and she rolled of the couch with a groan. We were both beyond exhausted but we knew this was something we had to do. It was our job. It's the family business as dad always called it.

My train of thought was being interrupted by a loud banging on the door of the motel. "Did they leave their keys?" Bella asked with frowned brows. I shook my head and got up off my ass to check, dragging my feet another loud and impatient bang was placed on the old door.

"Would you guys quit, I'm coming to the door!" but my attempt only led to another loud bang. They really were about to get their asses beaten.

"Police! Ma'am we need you to open up immediately." A deep voice came through the door and my eyes widened. I began to run to the kitchen and grab my gun and jacket.

"Shit. Shit. Bella move, you gotta go." I said in a deep whisper. I stumbled over my own feet grabbing the box filled with over 50 fake IDs just for myself.

"Lucky, I parked the car out back." Bella said as I threw her the keys. We grabbed the rest of the things that could even remotely make us or the boys look like criminals and Bella ran out to the car.

I took a long deep breath and walked towards the door. I knew if I didn't get to the door they would kick it in. Their screams got louder and I swung the door open.

"I'm sorry officers. I thought it was somebody else. I had to put some more suited clothes on." I chuckled while wrapping my jacket around my body. They glared and asked me to step out of the room. Violently tearing it apart I knew they would find nothing but it still left a pit in my stomach.

"There is two men in custody they said they live here as well, is this true?" The younger officer asked standing outside with me.

I didn't know exactly how to respond so I tried the best I could. But I knew something went wrong and I knew there was a chance that I couldn't fix it.

As I jammed our stuff in the car I couldn't help but feel sick to my stomach, Rocky and I have only had to deal with police that were questioning and slamming on our door once before, but we were young; and it was about our dad. Being as young as we were, we were traumatized, the cops lead us to think our father was a killer, but we knew what he really did, to us he was a hero.

I heard things being thrown around in the motel room and I knew the drill Sam had told Rocky and I before. I was just worried to leave my sister here alone. I push my long brown hair out of my face and slam the trunk closed. Jumping in the car I look at the picture of Rocky and I's mom, I took a deep breath, and turned on the car. Speeding away I watch as Rocky stands outside with a younger cop and I feel guilt inside.

I turned on the old road and head to our second hide out location, I had no clue what was going on but I knew that as soon as Rocky could get to a phone she would tell me. The old police radio that was sitting in the car began to get static, I tried to listen closely.

'Nothing's here, rooms clean and story cleared as far as them staying here.' A deep voice came through the radio and I knew it had to be about Sam and Dean. My heart dropped.
