Guess who had to wake up at 5:30 to leave for the tournament? Yep, me. Atleast I am not driving to this one. My mom is actually driving us both, which I am beyond grateful for. Especially because the facility we're playing at is about 2 and 1/2 hours aways.
As I get up and start getting all of my stuff together, I hear my phone go off but I don't really pay much attention to it. I then hear my mom say it's time to go soon, so I head downstairs to put snacks into my bag. When I get down there I mumble a "good morning" to my mom. I put a few bags of fruit snacks, some Reece's, a cup big enough for a venti Starbucks drink, and some beef jerky into my bag, so I can sneak it in the facility, because if your caught with food you get huge fines. I also grab a pillow and sweatshirt, so I can sleep in the car and take a nap later.
We get in the car and get comfy, then start the 2 1/2 hour drive.

I wake up about half and hour before we arrive, and I decide to just stay laying down and just go through my phone. I notice that i have 4 missed private messages from the matthew guy I talked to....last night? This morning? Whatever. That kinda surprised me. These were his four messages.

2. So I guess you left talking to me already.
3. Please respond, I have a special feeling about you.
4. Ok I will stop blowing up your phone. I am sorry.Okay this guy may seem alittle strange but I like that he spoke his mind to me, and put himself out there like that. So I texted him to put him out of his misery. I just told him sorry I slept on the car ride here. He responded a few minutes later, so for the rest of the car ride, about 20ish minutes, we talked about ourselves.
When I got to the facility, I still had an hour until playing time because my coach likes his team to get there early. So during warm ups I just kept texting Matthew. I actually think I am starting to like him, but I want to be carful, because he could easily have a girlfriend and just be playing me. He then asked if he could see a picture of me. And I will admit, I am very self conscious of my looks but I went for it anyway. I didn't get a response for a few minutes, which made me think quite a few things.
1. Maybe he's just busy
2. I scared him off
But it's ok because he responded like 30 seconds after I started freaking out. What he said made me start to smile insanely, which of course I tried to hide, but failed. He told me...
