~~~Gold's POV~~~
Watching Ennard go mad, fighting the puppet, it somehow triggered the known feeling, as fear well up inside of me. It has been awhile since this feeling has emerge but not like this, its different, I fear for everything to end. The puppet's face is smeared as Ennard jumped and knocked her to the ground. I can't believe my eyes as I watch Ennard tear her apart piece by piece before he looked up and gasped. Did he not realize I was standing right here, the whole time. Fear filled his eyes as he got up oil-like blood covered him as he took shaky steps towards me. "Lance I told you to stay with them, why? Why didn't you listen to me," his eyes showed fear as his legs gave out and he fell to his knees.
Biting my lip I walked over to him and kneeled down and hugged him. I could feel him jump but then relax, I could feel the light sobs coming from him. "How can I just sit back and watch my father die all because I wasn't strong enough to protect everyone," I said as I could feel his sobs lightly through my chest. It's strange how this all happened and I want it to be different. Please God if you really do exist, can you make this horrible nightmare end. I don't want to lose my father. Not like this, not when I have so much to say to him. I could hear the hissing and crackling of the wood around us. So this place is really gonna burn down, but I don't care I want to be free from everything. Even if this is the end, I'm willing to die here, because I have my father with me and we'll both be set free from this hell.
But I feel as something is missing and I know that this isn't the end, but we're going to die in here if we don't start moving. All of a sudden I felt Ennard push me away and he got up and ran towards the door where the noise was coming from. Within an instant he opened the door there was a big explosion as everything was flaming red. Ennard came flying back as the force of the explosion blew him backwards. "NO!" he looked back at me with a weak smile before the fire over took him with shear force. I felt the overwhelming guilt and despair as I watch the fire mercilessly burn Ennard, my father, into nothing but ashes. No, this can't end like this. I looked over at the dead puppet and see something floating above the puppets corpse.
It glowed an eerie glow as I reached out for it. "Don't touch that," I looked behind me to see Candy as he placed a hand on my shoulder, "that is a force you don't want to mess with and besides people lose their minds to such powers." He rubbed my shoulder as he looked in the general doorway where the others lay unconsciously under the stress. Biting my lip I got up and ran towards them with Candy close behind. I saw that some of his crew was already there picking them up and carrying them towards the basement. So Ennard knew that this would happen so he had everything planned. I don't want to leave, knowing that my father was Ennard this whole entire time. Looking back at the raging flames I looked directly at the Puppet's corpse and gritted my teeth. I can't let anyone else have this power so I'll take it on, even if it kills me.
Running Candy yelled my name but I didn't care I needed that power so no one else can abuse such force. Reaching out I grabbed ahold of the glowing orb as pain shot up my arm and went into my brain. Seering white what all I could see nothing but white.................
