~Gregory's POV~

The night seemed to drag on as I laid in my bed. It's really all a blur really with everything swimming around in a sea of nothingness. Strangely enough I almost find it relaxing, I heard sobbing coming from the wall. Mother must be crying again- getting up out of bed I made my way to my bedroom door. This normally happened as she was mostly looking at something that belonged to him and such that made her start crying again. But what was really bother was what grandfather mentioned earlier. "If my name is ever used for something terrible will you do me a favor and get revenge for me," he smiled and hugged me. What does he mean, does he know more than what he leads on.

Opening the door to see mother sitting upright in her bed holding a picture frame as tears streamed down her face. Sighing I climbed up onto the bed and took the picture frame as she fainted due to the exhaustion that kept her awake many nights. Tucking her into the warm blankets I climbed off the bed and went back to my room and crawled into my own blankets and finally drifted off to sleep.

~Time Skip~

The warm sun rays came through my curtains and woke me awhile ago as I could hear mothers soft breathing through the thin walls in this little house. Getting up and dressing into the same outfit as yesterday- I like the style and feeling so I have multiple pairs- and made sure that my messy blonde hair was straightened before I left my room. Walking towards my door I heard the doorbell ring, I didn't hear any movement from mother's room so I guess I was answering it. Walking to the front door I faintly saw the top of grandfather's head. So he came to wake mother up and head to work as well.

(A/N: A little backstory for readers William Afton in the first ever book and in FNAF sister location has him as the actual technician of the animatronics so he is the manager and technician in this story so usually Gregory and Mariah go with him to have some bonding time)

With everything going on in my head I opened the door to see grandfather standing there smiling, "morning Gregory is your mother up because I have to head to work soon." I shock my head, "nope but I was going to get her up-" he patted my head and walked right in, he seemed more cherry than usual. "Nah, I'll get your mother up you just have breakfast and do your regular morning routine," he chuckled as he walked down the little hallway to mother's room. Walking into the kitchen I pressed the button for the coffee machine and got my cereal that was accidentally left out due to yesterday's events. Pouring myself a bowl of cereal I placed my bowl on the table and pulled the milk out of the fridge.

"Oh honey I could've gotten you that," the melody of mothers voice sounded behind me. Turning my head I saw mother fully dressed as grandfather was reading something off the little booklet he usually carried around. "Nah, I'm a big boy now mom I can do it by myself," I said with a cherry smile before mother came over and kissed the top of my head. Grandfather closed the little orange book and placed it on the kitchen table as mother handed him a cup of hot coffee. "So Gregory do you wanna help me set up for your friends birthday party until the guest arrives," grandfather asked as he place two pieces of bread into the toaster. "Dad, you know having too much toast can harm your health," mother scolded grandfather- for some reason grandfather loved toast and I mean a lot of toast. "I can't help loving it like when you were little you'd always ask for corn-dogs even though it was breakfast," grandfather chuckled as I watched mothers face go red.

This is how it should be always, a happy family, joking around with each other and creating memorable memories. Grandfather ruffed my blonde hair and reached into the fridge for the strawberry jam that we don't use all that much. Being the only child to mother I don't really like having peanut and butter with strawberry jam as much as the next kid on the block. "Okay is everybody ready to go," grandfather asked as I placed my bowl in the sink and smiled as mother finished her coffee as well. He chuckled as mother grabbed her purse and ran to her room for some reason. "Your mother forgot the birthday present for Mike, Gregory," grandfather said as I looked up at him. He must've caught on with my stare.
