Jimin's eyelids were getting heavier and heavier by every second, but he forced himself to stay awake. He needed to.
All though he had been at the hospital for 26 hours, he needed to be there. This happened because of him, so he was the one who had to make it right.

He had been allowed to sit in Taehyung's room, so that was he had been doing for almost six hours now. He rubbed his red eyes and pulled his hand through his hair. When he sat back in his chair, his eyelids closed, and he knew that there was nothing he could do to get them back up.

"Groan."

Jimin jumped up on his feet faster than a scared gazelle. Did Taehyung just..?

"Where am...what.."

Jimin was not imagining. He slowly walked over to Taehyung's bed and found the boy trying to open his eyes properly. He couldn't help but smile.

"Taehyung!" Jimin said happily as the other opened his eyes. They were soft and sleepy.

"Jimin?" He asked and tried to sit up in the bed. He didn't succeed and fell back into the sheets.
"Jimin."

"Yes, Tae, it's me." A tear fell down Jimin's cheek and he smiled with his entire face.
Taehyung smiled a little too and then he started to cough. Jimin grabbed the glass of water standing on the bedside table. He gave it to Taehyung, who took it and drank it all in one mouth. When he had finished it, he smiled and closed his eyes while wiping his mouth with his arm. Jimin smiled and another tear fell. And another. Taehyung saw them, and it looked like as if he suddenly remembered what had happened.

"I'm.. Jimin, I'm so sorry." He said and took the black haired boy's hand.

Jimin broke into tears and sat down on the hospital bed. He pulled Taehyung into a hug.

"No, Tae, No. I'm sorry. I can't even begin to explain how sorry I am. I shouldn't have...said those things and...I almost lost you.. Taehyung, I'm sorry." He sobbed into the other boy's shoulder. He felt Taehyung pull him closer to his chest.

"I should have told you." He whispered into Jimin's ear and Jimin felt a shiver down his spine. He pulled back slowly and put his hands on Taehyung's cheeks.

"No, that was not your obligation, Tae. I shouldn't have been so fast forward, I mean, we barely know each other!" He said and Taehyung smiled.

"That is correct, we haven't known each other for that long, but.." Taehyung said with his soft voice and pulled Jimin closer to his face.
"But I think I'm in love with you."

Their lips met and-

Jimin's eyes flew open. He sat up in the chair quickly, rubbing his eyes. He looked at the big clock on the wall.
It showed 2:59 am. Then he looked over at Taehyung's bed, only to find him still sleeping.

A dream.

A dream.

Jimin felt some kind of pain take form in his chest area. He had no idea what was going to happen when Taehyung woke up, and he was scared. What if he was mad at Jimin? What if he... Jimin didn't even know what to think, so instead of thinking he got up and walked quietly over to the hospital bed.

Taehyung was lying there, all helpless, with a hose attached to his nose. Over his forehead ran a big wound, stitched up with at least 14 stitches. His beautiful bottom lip was ripped open and dried blood formed a thick, dark red line on there. He had also been bleeding from his nose, so there was a dried stream of red coming from his left nostril.
Jimin's eyes moved down, and saw that Taehyung's chest was tightly wrapped with some kind of bandage and it was held up by two plastic sticks.

The black haired short boy stood there and looked at the still so beautiful boy with tears streaming down his red cheeks. He sat down on the bed and buried his face in his hands.

"I'm so sorry, Tae, I'm so sorry." He whispered over and over again. He couldn't believe he had caused someone this much pain. Jimin grabbed Taehyung's cold hand and squeezed it tightly. He held it for a while, it just felt safe.
But.
He felt it squeezing back. Then he heard a breath. And this time, it wasn't a dream.

"Taehyung!" Jimin gasped and squeezed his hand harder.

"Jimin? What are you doing here?"
