I'd had restless nights since I started at secondary school, starting off thinking about homework and due dates, now being more and more about boys. I mean, I know I'm only 15, but having someone to share my life with? That made my life start to sound interesting.

Time for school again. With not much sleep, getting up in the morning hadn't been hard, because I would lie there awake, waiting for my alarm to go off at 6:30 am. Then I would roll out of bed, get dressed, have a wash, grab a bit of toast and I was on my way to school. Not today though. I had different plans. So I stayed in bed, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, until mum decided to come and wake me up.
"Your going to be late for school! Again! Come on, Robyn, I'm going to have to drive you in today."
I giggled. Silly move, she knew I was up to something.
"Why are you laughing? It's not funny! If you do this again, I will take your phone and glue it to the kitchen counter to make you get up! Do you hear me? Get up!"
Mum was funny when she was angry, she would always waffle on about something silly and impossible to work out. So I just sat there, thinking about what perfume I was going to wear today. I think after a while mum figured out that I wasn't listening, and left me to it.

I took forever to choose what perfume,
underwear and jewellery to put on, when I had the last call from mum.
"I'm going now, Robyn, unless you want to walk to school and explain to Miss Boxley why you were late, then I suggest you get your sorry butt down these stairs right now!"
I grabbed my bag (mostly full of fragrances and make up) and legged it down the stairs, and into the car.
