I stare at Hendricks in complete shock. I collapsed into a pile on the floor. "How can you still be alive? I put a bullet through your head! In the simulation you said you couldn't follow me anymore! How can u be be here! Your answer...NOW and it have better be good!" I screamed at him, tears flowing from my eyes. I never cry before others, but when I do, I'm really upset. And this was a good reason to be. Maybe this explains why he doesn't visit In my dream simulations. He was never dead to begin with. He kneeled next to me. "When we're alone, I'll explain. But right now we have a problem." He whispered in my ear. "What problem?" I reply. "One that I think you have to see." He says as he pulls me up from the ground. He holds my hand as he shows me the way. Thanks to my most recent mod check up, I can feel warmth on my arms and body to make it like a real body, but something wasn't right about Hendricks, he had warmth when there shouldn't have been, like regular human flesh and not metal and steel. Before I could investigate he let go and as l looked up the things I saw made me feel like I was in a video game. Zombies were all over the place. A sea of glowing yellow eyes and rotten flesh was just wandering around the room. The strong smell that came after was enough to make you puke. As a matter of fact it was hard for me to keep mine down. (Thanks to my recent request to be more normal for special reasons I can now produce vomit) "This is what Corvus was trying to hide from us. He wanted to keep the survivors hidden and out of sight. So he would mess with our heads to destroy ourselves to mask them." Is this why the experiments didn't work, a huge flaw in the system? Corvus was just doing his job, protecting the patients of the disaster. He was no more than a security system. "But if they are still here, someone would have to monitor them right. Keep them contained." Jameson said, as he looked at Hendricks with a curious look with a hint of suspicion. Which got me to wondering again, if Hendricks was here the whole time, why didn't he send for help? Why not try and tell me? "I don't know, they looked harmless, but one approached me and tried to bite me, but I managed to get away in time." He replied with a look that said "you got a problem buddy?" If I was in a chair I probably would have sunken deep into it. Don't get me wrong, what lady doesn't like a little competition over her. But when your like me, you'll realize you get embarrassed when your in a mission and it happens. I guess it just means I'm slightly embarrassed.
