Chapter 7

Outside the walls Part 2
(Your POV)

I looked into the sky seeing more than I have ever seen before. Clouds in the sky far as the eye can see, the feeling of wind in my hair flowing from side to side.
No longer feeling contained and limited. Feeling free and welcome.

I smile giving off a small giggle, making Levi, Eren and Mikasa look my way. "What's so funny brat?" Levi questioned. "Nothin." I smiled. "Keep focus cadet." Levi said. I smirked, "I know you probably looked at the sky as well when you first got out of the walls, also I am completely focused." I replied.

"Tch." Was all he said.
"How long have you two known each other?" Eren asked.
I returned to my monotone expression. "Why do you wanna know?" I asked.

"You two seem close that's all." Mikasa said.
I looked to Levi who seemed busy with other cadets. "Since we were little I guess." I said. "Wow really?" Armin asked.
"Y-yeah, since I was ten and he was twelve." I said with confusion laced in my voice.

"Nice knowing that he had a heart." Mikasa said. "You have something to say cadet?" Levi asked startling myself and Mikasa.
"N-No sir!" Mikasa said returning to her position.

Hours passed as we all heard or seen nothing threatening yet.
Just as I was about to start complaining like Eren, back smoke was shot up into the air West West of us. "West wing has spotted and been attacked by an abnormal captain!" Armin shouted.

Eren obviously wanted to help them with his caring personality and stuff. Mikasa talking to him seemed to have calmed him down a bit.

All of a sudden...

Armin screams...

Only to not be found...

I look behind everyone to see a titan with Armin in it's hands.
Eren is in full shock and as well as Mikasa.

Seriously?

I look to Levi who is seeming to be concentrating about what to do.

Fuck this!

I jumped off my horse and used my 3DMG to latch onto a nearby tree. Latching another hook to a tall bell tower, launching myself from the titans ankle up higher using as less gas as possible but still moving fast.

I sliced the titans nape and getting a gust of wind knocking me back a bit. As the titan falls it lets go of Armin who is flung towards the group hitting the ground multiple times.

I landed and grabbed Armin running towards everyone. His head was bleeding, he probably hit a rock during his stumble knocking him unconscious.

Shit if a titan appears we're screwed.
Levi slowed down the group waiting for us when.

Aw shit!

Another black smoke flare was shot further ahead where Jason was located. I swear if he isn't with Erwin when I see him again, he is never gonna see the light of day again.

I finally catch up with the group and patch Armin up as he soon starts to regain conscious. "I swear that titan is a ninja. He came out of no where." Armin said. Everyone seems to let out a small giggle and a smile only me and Levi keeping straight faces.

I walk towards Levi to see him looking at the map, also keeping a look out in front glancing every now and then.

"I swear once I don't see Jason with Erwin when we all get to the experiment meet up I will kill him." I said in a sarcastic voice. Making Levi chuckle a bit before actually talking about different plans.

Everything is starting to make more sense since me and Levi went over some more tactics, everyone else was of course bored out of their minds.

"Are we getting close Captain?" I asked. "Stop your whining brat." Levi said in his normal monotone voice. Everyone sighed as we all were bored. We passed some trees to finally reach the meeting point.

I look over towards the head squad, Erwins squad to be exact.
"Jason!?" I yelled. I see Erwin and four other people but no Jason. Erwin saddened his face, my heart beat slowed my eyes widened.

Everything is slow, this....

This can't be happening!....

He gone...

He's gone and it's all our fault....

I trusted Erwin....

It's my fault....

How could I let this happen to him!?....

"What...did the titan....look like?"
I said with anger in my voice.
There was a pause between everyone. "What...Did it look like!" I shouted. "It had long green hair." One of the cadets said

Just like that I'm gone, Jason... I will avenge you!

(Levi's POV)

"She is gonna get herself killed." Erwin said. "Tch, just watch; half of her killings are from one night of her anger. I haven't seen her like this since then, then again we were separated for four years so who knows maybe she is even more scary. I didn't want to get in her way that day, she even scared the shit out of me." I said with a smirk.

"Heh she will be just fine." He replied with a chuckle, but I know that since I was freaked out by her being that angry then it's best to never get on her real bad side.

I saw Eren, Mikasa, and Armin start mounting their horses. "Hey! What do you three brats think you're doing?" I asked. "Going after our friend." The titan brat replied. "She is fine." I said in a monotone voice.

"How do you kn-" "I have known her for nine years, and I have only seen that look once until today trust me she is fine." I said. They all looked at each other and dismounted their horses.
