Chapter 10

The two lost soldiers

(Levi' s POV)

I woke up locked in a cell, chained to the floor. "What the fuck is going on here!?" I shouted. "Language Levi." Said a familiar voice. "(Y/n)?" I said.
"No it's Hanji, the psychotic scientist that fan-girls over a titan." (Y/n) replied sarcastically.

"Pretty good description." I chuckled. "Yeah I know, I have been thinking about it for the past five hours." She chuckled nervously. "Have I really been out for that long?" I questioned in a monotone voice.

"Yeah, it's sad that I couldn't get us out of here either." She replied. I looked around the cell to see that it's rusty and covered with filth. "So what happened?" I questioned.

"So did you see any other dead titans while you were looking for Jason?" I asked. "I found two other titans and that was all. But I never thought that Jason would be a titan, especially one that can blend into its surroundings." (Y/n) said. "Well I feel sorry for him, since we left him with a crazy Hanji back there." I replied
"You've changed since you found me."
(Y/n) said.

"In which way?" I asked with no emotion laced in my voice.

"You have been more talkative." She said. I thought of the times I have been talking with other cadets and such. "Yeah I guess I have."

(Y/n)'s POV)

"Hey Levi?" I said. "Yeah?" He answered. "What's happened up here on the surface other than Isabel and Farland?" I asked. Levi seemed a bit taken aback from my question.

He deeply sighed, "I was ranked up to corporal after a few years. I was assigned my own squad and everything." He said. "Not long after Yeager joined, the female titan killed them... Petra Ral, Oluo Bozado, Eld Jinn and Gunther Schultz." He said with a monotone voice.

"Everyone known that Petra had a crush on me. I didn't care, then Oluo started copying my movements and acting like me. The only reason was is because he liked Petra, and since she liked me he thought it would be a good idea to try and be me. Those two were pests I swear. Eld was second in command and he was the one who usually kept the group together. Eld and Gunther were more like friends within the group and kept to themselves." Levi said.

I felt as if I shouldn't have asked. "Petra once confessed to me...." He said.

My heart raced a million times faster and my eyes widened, he loved someone else then me.... I knew he was too goo-

"I turned her down." He said. My heart slowed down and the aura of jealousy is no longer around me.

"What about Hanji?" I asked.

Levi 'Tch'ed looked over to my direction and the spoke.
"Do you know how many times I have tried to shut her out of my life?" He chuckled. "I don't really wanna say we're 'friends' or 'best friends' but it seems like that anyway." He said. "I bet she likes Erwin." I said smirking. "He likes her personality and energetic voice." Levi said while trying to break free once again. "And Hanji likes his caring speeches and creative ideas. Then again he is somewhat interested in titans to of course she is gonna love him more." He added.

"And they both talked to you about it?" I asked. "I know, they seem to think that I am the best person to go to. Now I don't know if titan slobber got into their brains or what, they both know I am not good at socialising, and I know nothing about romance." He replied with a monotone voice.
