We had finally made it to where they were. I ran towards the area where it was. I as fast as I could. I think at one point I was way ahead of 2D. My heart was racing and I could barely control my breathing. It still hadn't stopped me from running though.
From where I was it was hard to see, but I saw flames! Planes flying, and the sound crackling of the fire was all I could hear. We soon saw Veronica and Russell. "no." I whispered. The area we were in had lots of cliffs and rocks. The floating island always just floated where it went. How they found it I have no clue,but I didn't care.
I ran up to them, but didn't stop myself for some reason and almost went over a cliff. I felt someone pull me back. I tried to catch my breath and just stared at the floating island. "We have to do-" I has interrupted by 2D. "We can't." I looked behind me. 2D was the person that grabbed me and still hadn't let go.
His grip tightened on my hand. I turned around and saw the island hit the ground. Even from where I was I could see the pilots grinning widely as they flew away. I felt warm tears falling down my face. I turned around and hugged 2D who was still in shock.
We all just stood there for a good 10 minutes. Then my head shot up. "Where the hell is Murdoc?!" Everyone turned to look at me.
