This time we're gonna learn how to say phone numbers. Sounds interesting huh? (But I'll not give my phone number to you guys 😂).
Okay, we used the Chinese Number System for phone numbers. Before we start, there is one thing to keep in mind.
We say 공 [kong] instead of 영 [yeong] for number 0 in phone number.
⭐ 82 - 팔이 [pa-ri] ➡ This number is the Korean calling code.
⭐ 02 - 공이 [ko-ngi] ➡ Here is the area code of Seoul, which is the capital of Korea.
⭐ 010 - 공일공 [ko-ngil-kong] ➡ 010 is the most common first three digit for mobile phone number.
⭐ 119 - 일일구 [i-ril-ku or i-lil-ku] ➡ 119 is for national rescue services. Keep in mind when faced with an emergency situation, call 119.
⭐ 112 - 일일이 [i-li-li or i-ri-ri] ➡ 112 is the number to call when you want to contact your local police.
