                                                                      Chapter Two

After I was home, I went up to my room. I started working on my science project. My project was on Paranormal Activity. I started doing some research and found out a lot more than I should of.

I started thinking. What was bugging me on the way home earlier? Could it have been a ghost? I don't know. I probably never will.  "Shut Up!", I heard my mother yell. My mother and father fight every night about something. Whether it's money, kids, or just their life in general. It's always something. They were screaming at each other and all of a sudden, I heard the back door slam shut. He's gone. I lay in my bed and cried all night long. "Why? Why me? What did I do to deserve such a punishment as my own father leaving me?" Questions that will never be answered.

The next morning when I woke up, I was still a little freaked out by the whole fight last night. My mom told me to go stay the night with Dustin after school. She said that she wanted to discuss some things with dad. I've been around long enough to understand what that means. They're getting divorced.

At school, I couldn't focus. I was still thinking about the science project. It was do in two weeks. We are never going to finish.  I sit next to Dustin in chemistry. We are talking about the different things and cool features we are going to put in our project. Things like a video of a ghost, or even playing the song Ghostbusters as we give our presentation. He agreed on everything. We both chuckled at the teacher. His zipper was down, and there was a piece of toilet paper stuck to his shoe. This is the whole reason we have school. To laugh at teachers.
