Hey, sorry, this is sort of a short chapter, but I hope you like it... -Jewelz2002
I opened my eyes, blinking away the sleepiness that blurred my vision. I looked around in that pre-sleep panic, but I settled down when I saw the sleeping figure on my stomach, which sent me all the memories of the last two days. I pushed the worst memories back and looked at the sleeping boy.
It was Liam, and he looked so peaceful. I just had to ruin it.
"Liam?" I whispered, poking him in the side, "Liam?"
He groaned, and then seemed to remember where he was, "Kimmy? You okay?" He never got up, but looked at me over his folded arms.
I giggled and nodded, "Yeah."
He groaned again and sat up, rubbing his eyes, "You gave us a scare."
"I'm sorry," I whispered, embarrassed. I remember the conversation we were having before I fell asleep.
"It's okay. We're just concerned. But you're okay now right?" He asked at me, his sleep eyes gone, replaced with a concerned look.
I nodded and sat up, still a little dizzy, "What happened after I fell asleep?"
"Well," he scratched his neck, "Zayn and Louis promised not to tell Harry and Niall, and they wanted to call Simon, but I figured they better wait until we asked your opinion." He eyed me expectantly.
"Um," I started lamely, looking down, "I don't want him to worry. He's got a big enough job without me being trouble."
"Well," Liam stood up, "Just know that the boys and I will be here for you if you need us."
"Okay." I swung my legs over the side of the bed, ignoring the pinching pain in my head, "Where are they? The boys? I haven't actually met any of the others besides Niall and Louis."
He grinned, "Well, I'd expect Zayn's still sleeping, Niall is shoving more food down his mouth, Harry is probably on Twitter, and Louis is watching the funnies on the telly."
I laughed at his apparent knowledge about the boys, and he led me out of the room. I hadn't really met any of them, not enough to know who they were, but they sounded like a family. A family I was intruding on.
"Boys!" yelled Liam from the top of the stairs, "Meeting in the parlor. Now!" I winced, his loud voice hurting my head.
I heard a scuffling downstairs, and a door opened behind me. I remembered to hug the walls as I made my way down the stairs, but a boy behind me practically biffed it down the whole thing, racing into the parlor.
I followed Liam into a cozy room, with a couple couches and a blazing fire in the fireplace. He sat on one that was full, so I sat on one that only had one boy on it, that I recognized as Niall. True to Liam's word, he had a bowl of cereal that he was wolfing down.
"So, lads," Liam said clapping his hands, "We haven't introduced ourselves to Kimmy yet, so I thought we'd do introductions here and then do a bit of shopping."
Louis eyed me and I went red and looked down, not wanting them to know that the only reason that I even had clothes that fit was because of the money Uncle Si sent Mum when my dad left.
"Okay, I'll start!" Said an excited Louis, "My name is Louis, I'm 17, and I like playing football."
"Hi, my name is Harry, I'm 16, and I like hanging out with these lucky lads." A curly haired kid I didn't know playfully punched Liam, earning a poke in the stomach.
"My name is Zayn, I'm 17, and I like to sleep." Said a dark haired boy who was lounging on the couch, one leg on Harry and an arm on Louis.
"My name is Liam, I'm 17, and I like to play drums," he said, looking at me knowingly.
Niall spoke up from across our couch, taking a small break from his food, "Hey, my name's Niall, I'm 16 and I like to eat if you haven't noticed." I giggled, and looked down, knowing that it was my turn.
"Erm," I started, turning bright red. "My name is Kimmy, I'm 16, and I like..." I trailed off, looking around for something to say, "I like to read in the early mornings when I'm the only one awake, and everything is still..." I trailed off again, lost in memory.
Suddenly realizing that the boys were staring at me, I looked up and blushed, not missing all the open mouths. They, obviously, had never heard anything involving "Early" anything.
The whole room was silent, except for Zayn's soft snores, (obviously he loved sleep way too much). I held a finger to my lips and tip-toed over to where he was sleeping. Louis, getting the hint, handed me a water bottle that had been laying around, and I opened the cap silently.
The other boys were holding as still as they could, desperate to see what would happen. I slowly tilted the water bottle downward, sending a waterfall of cold water down on Zayn's face.
His yell was so loud I winced and he jumped up, making me sprint away, down a hallway that I didn't know was there. He was chasing me, so I ran as fast as I could, turning into the kitchen. I saw a sliding door that led to a backyard and I ran for it, Zayn sliding into the kitchen just as I slid it open. I ran on the grass that surrounded a pool, noticing the walls that surrounded the whole yard.
Crap!
