Home. Home is defined as a place where something flourishes, is most typically found, or from which it originates.
Friend. Friend is defined as a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection, typically exclusive of sexual or family relations or even a familiar or helpful thing.
Family. Family is defined as a person or people related to one and so to be treated with a special loyalty or intimacy.
Hogwarts has been all of these things for many people over the years. Men and women have fought and died to protect this one place and pass it on to our future generations. As students of Hogwarts, every person becomes a part of the family. Every person that touches Hogwarts can't help but love it and because of this the family must always do what they can to protect their home. To death and beyond.
