Journey to LA

**a few weeks later**

I woke up super early to my alarm clock going off. Today was the day. I was moving to LA! I threw on some clothes and got my bags. My dad was going to take me to the airport.

"I can't believe my little girl is moving to LA." he said.

"Don't be so cheesy, dad!" I moved a piece of hair away from my face.

He chuckled.

**an hour later**

I put my bags into the car and then got in my seat. My dad started the car and started backing out of the driveway. I took one last look at my house. I had lived there all of my life, and now I was moving away. Well, it was going to happen eventually.

We got to the airport and I got my bags out of the car and gave my dad a goodbye hug.

"Sweetie, if you ever need something just call us, ok?" he said.

"Ok dad. Bye." I said with teary eyes.

I went in and got my ticket and went to security. It took about 20 minutes to get through, but I guess this weekend was gonna be busy as usual. Once I got out I went straight to my terminal.

As I waited for the plane, I texted the guys.

Me- I'm waiting for my plane guys the feeeels

Adam- You're almost there finally!!!!!

Quentin- It's so early here

Me- Same

(Group text btw)

I then got a text from Mitch. It was just his contact though.

Mitch- I can't wait to see you again

Me- Yea I missed you a lot

Mitch- I'll make sure to give u a big hug

Me- haha thanks

"Flight 42 to LA now boarding!" the lady said.

Me- gtg guys i'm boarding

I turned off my phone and got onto the plane. Apparently not a lot of people were going to LA this weekend. I had the window seats to myself. I was still super tired so I closed my eyes and went to sleep.

**four hours later**

I got off of the plane and made my way to the luggage pickup. I looked for my cousin, Drew. He was waving at me.

"Hey Amber! Long time no see!" he said.

"Yeah. Hey can we talk later I'm super tired." I said rubbing my eyes.

"Sure let's go."

We went to his car and drove to my apartment.

When we got there he helped me with my bags. We went into the office to get the key, then we went into the apartment.

"Home sweet home!" I said smiling.
