It was 10:00 and we were in Times Square. We were really close to eachother. We were wearing 2014 glasses and we were watching a concert.
It was the part when the reporter came around and asked who our New Years kiss was.
"Is this your kiss?" the reporter asked Mitch.
"Yes, she is." he said putting his arm around me.
I could already feel the ship names.
"Yes?" the reporter said into her headpiece. "Oh, I see."
She turned to us.
"It appears you two are a trending hashtag on Twitter."
I expected that.
"We need to give the people what they want, so at midnight we're going to show your kiss!" she said.
"Ok...?" I said.
"Great, see you then." she walked away.
"I guess it's no secret now." Mitch said.
"Yeah, well it was gonna happen eventually." I said.
It was now 11:58. There were cameras around me and Mitch.
"This is gonna be our first kiss." I said.
"And it's going to be on TV." Mitch said.
11:59. I began getting nervous. Everyone was going to see our kiss.
"I just hope the fangirls won't go psychopathic on me." I said to Mitch
"5...4...3...2...1!" the crowd cheered.
Mitch turned towards me and pulled me in for a kiss. Our lips touched and I could feel the eyes on us, but this was heaven. We pulled away and I smiled at him. He gave me a hug and then we stood there screaming '2014!' like maniacs.
"As expected," a reporter said. "#Mimber is one of the trending hastags to start off 2014."
"Hey, we're famous!" I to Mitch.
"Yeah. Mimber, huh?"
