It was Valentine's Day and I was editing a video. I almost had a million subscribers now. My phone went off.
"Hello?" I said.
"Do you want to go to Red Robins for dinner?" Mitch asked.
"That was a subtle 'will you be my valentine?' " I said.
"Haha sorry... Amber, you're the best thing that has ever happened to me. Will you be my valentine?" He said.
"Why yes, kind sir." I said. "Sure Red Robins is fine."
"Ok so I'll pick you up at 6?" he said.
"Ok." I hung up.
Yes! Tonight I'm going on a Valentine's date with Mitch! I'm so excited. We haven't had a date for a while and I knew tonight was gonna be awesome!
At 6 my doorbell rang. Opened the door. Mitch was holding flowers.
"For my princess." he said handing me the bouquet.
"Thank you my prince." I kissed his cheek.
We pulled up and went in. We got taken to our seat. I ordered a chicken sandwich and Mitch ordered a cheese burger.
We got our orders half an hour later. I started eating.
"This is some good chicken." I said.
"It's a good burger." Mitch said.
Awkward conversation...
The waitress gave us a milkshake with two straws.
"How cute is this?" I asked Mitch.
"Should we take a picture?" he asked.
"Sure it would be adorable." I said.
We took a picture. I laughed when I saw it.
"It's awesome." I said.
We finished our milkshake.
"Give me your right hand." Mitch said.
I gave him my hand. I felt something on my finger.
"Open your eyes." he said.
There was a tiara ring on my ring finger.
"Awww!!" I said.
"I'm glad you like it." he said smiling.
"I'm gonna wear this every day." I said.
As we walked out Mitch stopped me. He turned me towards him.
"Will you kiss me valentine?" he said.
I leaned in and we kissed for a little while. That's when I knew for sure, we were more than just friends.
