"Aunt Bev?! Oh my god!" I hug the hell out of her. "I can't believe you're here!"

Aunt Beverly gives me one last squeeze before she hold my face in her hands.

"How could I not go to New York with my favorite niece!" She smiles.

"I know that mom called you, Aunt Bev." I ask.

"Yes she did." She's closes her eyes and nodd her head. "And she told me of the great news!" She hugs me again. "I'm sorry, but we all hated that little fuc-" My mom clears her throat very loud as little kids walk by us on the side walk.

"Excuse me. I meant little meanie that I was going to beat the poo out of him if you stayed with him any longer." Aunt Beverly just blinks her eyes and laughs. She normally isn't like this but she didn't really like my ex. Actually none of my ex's. Haha. I laugh at those memories.

"I'm so glad you came all the way from Cali to join us." I hug my aunt again before setting down in my seat. Aunt Bev sits to my right.

"As soon as your mom called me and told me what happened with your "fiancé" She makes quotation marks with her hands. "Barf. Anywho, where's the waiter?" She raises her hand at the young guy who gave us our drinks earlier.

"Yes ma'am?" He asks.

"Can I have a menu?" Aunt Bev takes the small menu from the guy.

"Would you like for me to take you order now or give you a minute?"

Bev looks over the menu very fast before answering with, "I'll take a coke-a-cola, with a chicken sandwich. No mayo, and no tomatos. Also I would like some fries with ketchup on the side." The waiter finishes his writing, thanks us, and leaves.

While my mom and aunt Bev talk about each other's schedules I can't help but wonder what's taking so long with my food.
As soon as I think about getting some fries the waiter comes out with my salad and my mothers order.

"You food is almost done ma'am." The waiter reassures aunt Bev before leaving.

"Thank god!" I exclaim before digging in.
Within five minutes my food is gone, and I order some fries.

"Ok so what are we doing after lunch?" Mom asks.

"I thought we could go to the Empire State Building?" I suggest.

"Yeah that sounds great." Aunt Bev pays for lunch and calls for a taxi.
