BTS signed with Def Jam Recordings, Japan.

Def Jam Recordings is an American record label focused predominantly on Hip-hop/Urban music, and the American brach holds artists such as Nas, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Common, and Alessia Cara, among many other big names.

"We are thrilled to welcome BTS to the Def Jam family. Its remarkable how they have established a strong career in such a short period of time, and we wish them more successes in the years to come."

Note: BTS is still signed to BigHit. DJ Japan will only act as a distributer and a representative for the it Japanese activities, such as the releases of the Japanese versions of BS&T and Not Today.
