You decided to go after the siren and tracked her down a staircase the led to a long hallway. Doriel stood there back facing you.

"I've had humans fall down here and leave me many times." she says. "It's always the same. They come, they leave, they die. I cannot lose another child. If you leave, you'll never come back. He, ASGADE, will find you and kill you. I'm going to destroy the exit. Now, go back upstairs, my child. And don't try to stop me." With that, she leaves.

You can't let her destroy the exit. You follow her down the hall to a space where Doriel stood in front of a large door. She turns around to look at you, a stern look on her face.

"You wish to leave the garden so soon, do you not?" she asks. "Hmph, you are just like the others. There is only one way to settle this. Prove yourself. Prove to me you are willing to survive!"

Suddenly, Doriel forms tornadoes around herself and attacks. You swiftly dodge them without taking damage. Like what you learned before, you try and show mercy and spare her. She hesitates.

"What are you doing?" she asks. "Attack or run away! What are you proving? Fight me or leave! Just stop it!"

It went on like this until... "I know you want to go home but... but please... go upstairs now. I promise I will take good care of you here. I know we don't have much, but... we could have a good life here. Why are you making this so difficult?"

She laughs a little. "Pathetic, is it not? I cannot save even a single child."

She pauses. "No, I understand. You would just be unhappy trapped down here. The garden is very small once you get used to it. It would not be right for you to grow up in a place like this. My expectations... My loneliness... My fear... for you, my child... I will put them aside."

She stops fighting. "If you truly wish to leave the garden, I will not stop you. However, when you leave, please do not come back. I hope you understand." With a smile on her face, she hugs you and you hug her back.

"Goodbye, my child." She goes to leave, but not without one last glance at you before she returns upstairs as you exit through the door.
