I sat across from Cassia at the park . Believe it or not I'm really getting attached to her . She wasn't like the rest , she had a vibe I liked .
" Tell me about yourself chocolate " I spoke looking at the sky . I wanted to know more about her and what lies in her mind . " My whole name is Cassia Marie Ryder . I have no siblings and I moved from the south as in Alabama . " Cassia tells me and I nodded . " What bring you here. ? " I asked
" My mother wanted to get away from my father . He treated her horribly , not physically but mentally . The fact that he only loves white women and light skin women . I didn't understand why though , as I got older everything he screamed at was breaking me down . I looked at him as a monster that couldn't fathom the thought that he had a dark skin child . " Cassia spoke and i pulled her to me .
" You know your skin beautiful so why let it bother you some more ? In my eyes you are beautiful " I tell her and she smiles . I pecked her lips getting up . " lets admire nature for awhile " I spoke as we walked on the trail . I couldn't believe that a father would ruin his own daughter like that.
" What's up with you and Moe ? " Cassia question and I immediately tense up at that . " Our problems go way back . He did something that was wrong and he knew that but he ain't care " I spoke looking ahead . " What did he do ?"
" Why the fuck you so worried about it !? " I yell getting angry and Cassia eyes got big . It was really irritating me . " You and Moe must talk ? " I questioned as I stopped to look at her . I watch her look away before looking at me . " And I told you to not communicate with him. You know what find a ride home " I tell her and walk off the trail heading towards the parking lot.
" Issac!" I heard her yell but I ain't never stop nor even tried to look back . I open the door to my car and got in . I cranked up and pulled off leaving her watching me .
I refused to go back down that right again.
