"Finish your breakfast baby". I said taking Jason's robot out of his hands.

He pouted and continued eating slowly.

"Finish then we will take you to school". I smiled kissing his forehead as Laura walked in the kitchen.
"I need to take my purse. Help him wash his hands when he's done. I'll be right back". I said walking out of the kitchen.

I made my way toward the stairs and I stared feeling nervous.
I was visiting my mom today. Hunter will come with me, but I will talk to her alone.
I will finally know what her goal was all these years.
Why did she all these things? Appart from wanting money.

I walked up the stairs and entered the bedroom.
My gaze instantly landed on Hunter who was finishing buttoning his shirt.

He looked at me when I walked in the room and he smiled.
"Are you ready?". He asked.

I sighed smiling lightly. "Not really but I need to". I said moving to the closet and opening the drawer where his ties.

I just hope that everything goes smoothly.

I took a tie and walked back to Hunter.

"Let me". I said lowly and proceeded to tie it around his neck.

His hands moved to my waist and stared My me. I noticed but I just kept my eyes on his tie.

"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked.

"Mmhh". I mumbled and he looked at me with a blank face.
"I'm fine". I chuckled lightly finishing up. "But I should be asking you that". I said placing my hands on his shoulders.

He looked at me raising his eyebrow questioningly.

"Kevin". I said and his expression hardened.

I shook my head and started pushing him back until he sat on the bed. I moved to take a seat next to him but he grabbed my waist pulling me to his lap.

He came home late last night and he obviously didn't want to talk about it so I didn't pressure him.

"How are you feeling?". I asked running my hand through his hair.

He sighed burying his face between my breasts.

"Hey". I gasped.
"Are you cozy enough? Do you need help?". I asked jokingly and he chuckled.

"No I'm good. Thank you". He said.

I smiled and we stayed silent for a moment.

"I didn't want things to end like this". He suddenly said and I moved my hand through his hair.
"He's my brother".

"I know". I said softly. "He is your brother. And if he regrets what he did, things can be arranged between the two of you".

He scoffed. "You think".

"Hunter, I know. If you don't forgive the people who hurt you, you kind of become their prisoners". I said quietly.
"Living in the past will stop you from moving on".

I said and he looked up at me furrowing his eyebrows.

"Think about it". I smiled giving him a lingering kiss.
