The country girl

"WAKE UP BAY!" I heard my mom scream from down stairs.

"TIME FOR BREAKFAST BAY COME DOWN NOW!" She screamed but this time more serious.

"COMING!" I screamed even louder. I slumped out of bed and put my slippers and robe on while I looked at myself in the mirror. As i went down the stairs slowly until my nose was filled with the scent of bacon and eggs then I was rushing down the stairs to the table. I saw my mother put the food on the table and I dug in.

"And don't forget you have school today." My mother said while looking at me and I had a full mouth of bacon. All of a sudden I stop chewing and remember this is the first time I'm going to school in the city!

"I ran up stairs and put on a matching pair of under wear and bra and put on a plaid shirt with ripped jeans and my black hair down and put on my cow girl boots on . I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and ran out of there in a flash I grabbed my book bag on the way out the door and my mom handed me my lunch and a piece of toast.

"Thanks mom." I said smiling. pushed the door open and let the fresh grass scent fill my nose. I stepped of the stairs and went to the barn. I dropped my book bag and sung open the barn doors there on top of the hay stacks was a bike this is the first time I'm using it in 3 years hopefully I still know how to ride. I grabbed my stuff and hopped on my bike and went down the grassy hill across the bridge and then I stopped at the entrance of the city I breathed in the gasoline filled air it smelled nothing like the fresh grass on the farm. The school was just around the block as I saw it was the biggest school I have ever seen.

Kids were rushing in and I put my bike on the bike rack. I walked in school and there was a big silence and all eyes were on me. I walked slowly down the hall and went to my locker. 365. My locker number. Then I put in the code. 29-13-16 My locker rattled open and the echo went through the hall way still every thing silent. I put my stuff in and closed it and put the lock back on slowly. I quickly speed walk to class and take a chair that's in the front. I looked beside me and saw a scrawny little girl she wore a blue top with a little sweater and had skinny jeans and converses and glasses on. She had her book up to her nose and her legs crossed tight.

"Hey." I said to her.

"H-h-hi." She said scared looking at me.

"My names Bay." I said.

"I'm Daphne. " She said with a little more confidence. We stared at each other for a little bit and then a hand slammed my desk which made me jump. I looked up and saw a girl with a pink dress and some white heels and her hair pushed back with a head band.

"Why are you in my seat?" She said with attitude.

"Because I want to sit here." I said looking her right in the eyes.

"Well get out of it you slut!" She said angry.

"Well get another chair bitch!" I said Stern still looking her in the eyes. We stared at each other for a couple more minutes.

"Listen ill let you go this time since your new but next time your dead meat ok?"

"Sure." I said with a little smile. As the prissy girl left I looked beside me at Daphne with her mouth wide open.

"What?" I said rolling my eyes.

"Nobody's ever stood up to Grace." She said shocked.

"Well I guess im the first." I said with a smile.
