1D: Forbidden
Prologue
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
The pledge. Something we have to say every morning when we go to school. Whether we want to or not. It’s to remind us that this country allows you to be free and you can do whatever your heart desires… as long as you follow their rules. Which I think is absolutely absurd. Not that I think murder and thievery and etcetera is right… just some. Like one of the biggest problems today for mostly everyone. Being gay… or for the ladies, lesbian. Yes, there are plenty of people supporting but, there are many disagreeing. Either because that’s just their thoughts, they think it’s just plain disgusting, or they believe in a book made millions of years ago. Yes, I do as well believe in said book. But, don’t you think that seeing generation after generation change so drastically God may have changed his mind? He says to love your neighbors and isn’t that what we’re doing? Just some people more than others.
My name is Louis Tomlinson and at this point of my life it’s a struggle. I’m a confused teenager just like every other teenager in this chaotic world. I’m living in a Christian home located in a Christian town… or that’s what they claim to be. Soon enough I’ll be going to hell’s next so-called educational experience, high school. And I know deep in my heart that it’s going oh-so-very troublesome. Everyone knows that high school is the time to mature fully and grow up but, most of all, to explore. Also, find out who you are and fully find out what and who you adult and from the looks of it… I’m starting early.
