It had been a few weeks since Adam and I had founded our newly formed, 'Friendship.' We spent our days eating lunch together, walking home in the gentle spring winds, cherry blossom petals floating to the ground like gental feathers. I learnt that he was the son of the leading muscians in Japan, he had transferred to our apartment complex to begin an indvidual life, whilist his parents were busy with work. I hadn't mentioned my old passion I had music, now bedded in my cruel past.

It was a Saturday afternoon, school had finished and Adam and I were returning home. The harsh breeze, equalised the blazing sun, which had previously caused Adam and a few other individuals to strip down to their school shirts. My pale blonde hair drafted in the wind, the sound of my heavy feet dragged along the concrete pavement. My salmon pink eyes observed the cherry blossoms rolling around on the ground, when I felt a tug on my arm.

I raised my heavy head, my eyes meeting with Adams. My heart fluttered again, I look away clutching my chest. "Could we go to the park Monika? There's a few people I'd like to meet." He glanced at me with a beaming smile, his beautiful eyes shimmering in the light. "Sure." I put bluntly in an unenthusiastic voice. He smiled, "Great!" I guess he didn't mind my lack of emotion, he never complained or asked about it. I gave a small shrug following him.

[Timeskip to the park]

We arrived at a red gate, several highschoolers all sat on swings and climbing frames. The loud squeak of the red gate opening caused the gathering to convert their attention to us. They all jumped from their play devices, greeting us with kind smiles coating their lively faces. "Hey Adam!" A tall boy greeted us, being the first to approach us. "Hey everyone!" Adam replied in a cheerful response. He began to converse with his group of friends, all the while I stood staring at the tall boy with a dead expression. Tall...

A short while later, Adam glanced back at me. My skirt flowed with the wind as I escasped reality by staring at a nearby tree. I didn't care that he had came to ignore me, after all I am used to being invisible to those around me. People leaving me. I was snapped out of my false existance with a prod to the cheek. I turn, eyeing the group with a cold glare. Of course this was my resting face. They stared back at me sheepishly. Adam gave a small chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck. That seemed to be a habit of his. He opened his mouth, "Everyone this my neighbour Monika. Monika, these are my friends."

The group all bowed down in unison, "Nice to meet you!" They all greeted with kind voices. I blinked with no reaction, "Same." They repositioned themselves, the sunlight drifting behind a faint cloud darkening their faces. Adam lifted his arm, pointing to each of the five individuals. "This is, Levi, Nate, Violet, Rosie and Eren." I blinked, hinting observing each person in an attempt to remember their names. Not that I needed to. I didn't plan to get close or friendly with anyone.

After a small while, staring at me with a questioning look her face lit up, as if she were some child meeting santa for the first time. She rushed over to me her ginger hair smacking me in the face, caused by her overwhelming energy and the harsh wind. I stepped back a bit, confused about the sudden invasion of personal space. Adam jumped in suprise, "Huh?! Rosie what are you doing?" She ignored him releasing squeals of excitement. "You're Monika Miyazono!" I gave a small nod, not suprised over the fact that she recognised who I was. Violet, scratched her head in confusion, "You know her?"

The ginger turned around, a dangrous aura surrounded her, flame burned in her hazel eyes. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN HOW DO I NOT KNOW HER?! SHE IS THE YOUNGEST PERSON IN HISTORY TO WIN THE INTERNATIONAL MUSIC PRIX. THAT AND FIVE YEARS IN A ROW. SHE'S A FORCE OF NATURE, TALENT. THEY CALL HER THE BEST MUCISIAN OF OUR GENERATION. IT'S A SIN NOT TO KNOW WHO SHE IS!! THAT AND SHE CAN PLAY EVERY INSTURMENT THERE IS, SHE CAN SING TO!! HOW DARE YOU ASK WHO SHE IS. SHE IS GOD!!!" I look downward to my converses clentching my fists. "Over excitement much..." I said in an unaudiable whisper.

The rest of the group looked at Rosie with mixed expressions. The small girl panted, anger pratically shooting burning steam from each ear. Adam looked at me, I blink my cold eyes scanning various artifictures that were scattered in the park. "Is it true?" He questioned with a somewhat hurt expression. As if I were keeping it a deep secret or something. He never asked so I never said. I indicated a small nod, my blonde hair blowing in my face. Rosie then turned, looking me in the eyes, "Well you quit didn't you? After-" Her once thrilled expression was now saddened, her eyes welling up with rain droplets.
"My parents died." I finished her sentence, my cold hands curled up? now shaking in violence.

The others gasped in a sad shock. I gave a cold shrug. Adam realised why I hadn't mentioned it. His forest green eyes now awkwardly scanning the ground. Rosie blinked at me, "Are you going to play again?" She clutched my hand, a delicate fragment of what was a cherry blossom petal floated on top of our grip. "No." I respond my voice cold and harsh. She looked at me with puppy dog eyes. "But you have to!! You are at least going to enter the international grand prix, aren't you?" I glare down at her, "No." She gasped in hundreds of different of emotions. "Why?! You are just going to abandon all of your fans! Just because you can't get over your parents death?! You are pathetic! Who have we all been looking up to the whole time?!"

The small girl with a frame smaller than mine was violently yelling in my face. Her hurtful words stinging every fragment of what was left of my beating heart. My hand violently shook in her grasp. An anger awoke from inside me. What right does she have to say all of this? She has no idea. How dare she? I moved forward glaring at her coldy. A familiar pair of comforting hands gripped my waist pulled me back. His warm breath landed upon my neck, calming my nerves. Now putting my almost awoken emotions at rest. His voice was sharp and full of anger. "Rosie! That's enough!" She had been pulled away Levi who was also scolding her.

By this time a collection of heavy grey clouds dominated the once blue sky. Tear droplets began to thunder downward from the sky. I blink pulling away from Adams protective hold, heading swiftly toward the gate. "Look what you've done Rosie!" I hear Adam snap in my defence. I stop. My heart was thundering. Beating. I let out a small smile, before exiting the park. The rain was now crashing down violently. I ran rain the repersation of my lost tears, they rolled down my face. I forget to pace myself, my foot smashing in an indent in the pavement I was running upon.

I tumbled forward, my thick socks ripping from the harsh impact of my legs hitting the ground. Blood flowed downward a stinging sensation danced around my injured legs. I raise my shaking hand, placing it upon my cold lips. Tracing them, where they had been reaching one side of my face to the other.

Smile...
