She likes to climb trees when they walk through the woods. She hefts her body up on a thick branch and dangles her legs over the edge, smiling down at him. He doesn't miss the way her loose hair blows in the wind, pulling her knot bun down even more.

He sometimes wonders if that's what angels look like.
