Don't Take My Sunshine Away

Wait! What?!

Will P.O.V. 

I jumped back, pulling my hand from Nico's face. He blushed terrible and we were both at a lost for words. Leo looks just as shocked as me and Nico. I guess the fact that he just came back to camp means that he had yet to hear the rumors about me and Nico. That's right, ship jokes are already being made and everyone is talking about Solangelo becoming cannon. 

"Will Solace! Come here right now!" screamed Percy. He and Jason looked very serious and honestly I was sacred. Both boys were bigger then me and some of the best, if not the best, fighters at camp. I gulped but followed them as they lead me out of Nico's room and down the hall into an empty patient room. Leo closed the door behind us and suddenly it was just me and the boys. Oh Gods!

"Will? What's going on between you and Nico? I want the truth," asked Jason, his voice almost ... gentle. 

"Nothing we are simple friends, although it didn't really look that way, i swear we are only friends," I ramble. We are only friends but I wish we were more, I think. Leo stares at me as if check to make sure I'm not lying. Man these guys act like I've committed a crime. 

"Will do you have a crush on Nico because you certainly are blushing a lot?" questioned Leo. Oh no! I can't lie, really I'm terrible at lying but still can I trust them? I decide to try to lie, maybe they'll drop it if I keep denying it.

"N-n-o-o," I stutter out, visibly shaking from nerves. 

"I knew it!" Percy shouts angrily. He grabs me by my shirt and slams me against the closed door. "Solace if you so much as break the tiniest sliver of his heart, if you simply make him frown for a single second then I will hunt you down and turn you into chow for Mrs. O'Leary!" he threatened.

All at once I was furious. How could he even think that I would do a think to Nico. I knew Percy was protective, but I care about Nico way to much to hurt him like that. I wouldn't dream of hurting a hair on his head. Using strength I didn't even know I possessed I push Percy off me and grabbed him. I screamed "I wouldn't never hurt him, he means the world to me. So save the threats! And more to the point I'm not the one that rejected him when he had a crush on me for years!" It was a low blow and I knew it but the anger got to my head. At those words Percy's face went white and he went limp in my grasp. I dropped him to the floor. 

Leo and Jason just stared at me in disbelief. "Where did that come from?" Jason demanded. 

"I have no idea," I reply. I turn to Percy and say, "Hey man, I'm sorry that was uncalled for I just couldn't believe you guys thought i might hurt Nico. I care about him so much that I just lost control." 

"It's okay man. I shouldn't have threatened you in the first place, but you know how I get about Nico," apologized Percy as he stood up.

"Awe! I ship it sooooooooooo much!" squealed Jason. That's right, the son of Jupiter just squealed like a little girl over a ship. They left the room and I got back to Nico. The rest of the day passed uneventfully, thank the Gods.

  -The Next Day- 

 

Nico P.O.V. 

It's my last day. I should be so happy but I have to admit I'm gonna miss seeing Will so often. We had grown close over the past couple of days, but I know once I'm no longer his patient he will have no interest in me. Sadly, my feelings for him have only grown. I grabbed his had yesterday and the guys caught us but later when everyone was gone I took his hand again and held it. I don't know why but Will just made me feel so confident. I crave his touch and his embrace more then anything though.
