I opened the door and saw Lilly. She was standing there with her bags sitting around her. I didn't know why she was here but onething was for sure....I was very confused...
"Oh I forgot to tell you," my mother said sniffing in every few seconds, "Lilly is goin to be staying with us for a few months....we enrolled her into your school this morning."
I was so over joyed, I hugged Lilly tight...I couldn't believe it. My best friend was goin to stay here. In Melbourne. With me!!!!
"COME ON LILLY! I'LL SHOW YOU AROUND." She smiled and followed me up stairs...My mother finally stopped crying..she wasn't to upset...something like this had happned a few years ago During a family vacation. My mom walked in on him sleeping with our maid....
Lilly and I went up to my room and started going through my things. I told her about Luke and what happened earlier tonight. She was shocked. She knew about Anna and all that, But I never told her about Shannon.
We stayed up a little late until we realized we had one more day of school left this week. My mother woke us up and said we better hurry up get dressed.
I put on my Blue sinny jeans and my white shirt that says 'She's my best friend' with blue lettering. Lilly put on pink skinny jeans with a white shirt thats says 'She's my best friend'' with pink lettering. We both wore white flats and had out hair in side ponies.
When we got to school this morning I read Lily's schedule ....Great! She has the same as me! I took Lilly to office to get her locker. Her locker was a few down from mine. We went to first period and the teacher sat Lilly right in front of Luke, which was diaginal away from mine. I spent the day side by side with Lilly.
SHANNON'S P.O.V.~
Beven has been ignoring me all day.This morning she ran straigth past me wearing matching outfits with so girl. I'm very upset... Beven said Best friends forever, and no one would ever change that. Well she lied. Some one did change that. I have to get rid of her.....Beven is my best friend. NOT hers....It was time for Lunch. I saw Beven and that other girl sitting together at a table near the middle of the cafeteira, which was far from where we always sat.
I walked up to the table and sat across from Beven and her. They were looking at eacho other phones. I cleared my throat loud enogh for them to notice my existance.....
"He Shannon! This is Lilly! my best friend in the whole world..."
"Funny, you guys just met."
"No we didn't....remember the friend I told you about from Miami? Well this is her" She smiled real big.
"Oooohh Fantastic for her to join us."
BEVEN'S P.O.V.~
Shannon was being really rude. I tried to get them to know each other when someone came up beside me.
"Beven, can we talk?" It was Luke.
"Erm.. Sure." I left the table and followed Luke to an empty table a few tabls down from where I was sitting. Luke grabbed my hand and looked deep into my eyes to make sure I was goind to listen.
"Beven, You have no idea how sorry I am about last night. I'm a complete mess.....It broke my heart to hear you say you didn't have feeling for me. I felt my heart break when those words escape your mouth. I know we have only know each other a week but I care about you." I could see tears fill his eyes. I felt horrible.
"Luke I-" He cut me off.
"I don't want you to interupt me. Now listen...PLease all I want it a chance with you. I understand your way to good for me but I really like you. Please Bev...Just one." I luked down then looked back up at him.
"Just one Luke." He smiled adn gave me a huge hug....I couldn't believe I was giving him a chance.
