I studied the figure. But then the mist grew thicker again. I could barely see him now. Or her. Still, the voice was totally silent. That was uncomfortable, I missed it. But all I got was silence. My head felt empty without it, like something important was gone. Suddenly the breeze came back, stronger now. The mist cleared up, and I saw the figure. It was a boy, a young boy. Maybe six years. His hair was dark brown and hick, like mine. My eyebrows narrowed. Like me...? It felt like I had forgot something important, I was sure I knew this boy. His blue eyes stared at me. They where so bright. I had a weak memory that my own eyes had been like that one time. But I wasn't sure. It seemed like it was long ago. Before the fire. That was a weird feeling. There had actually been something before the fire... No, impossible. My gaze hardened, and I studied the boy. He had moved nearer. Automatically I took a step back. The boy got a confused look. He stared at me.

"Sister...?"

His voice was so light and weak, like he was about to begin to cry. I got a instinct to wrap my arms around him and hug him. He was so familiar. The way he spoke, the way he acted. But why had he said sister? What was sister? My eyebrows narrowed even more. Sister...

A five years old boy sat at the last step on a stair. His eyes was sad, and tears rolled down his cheeks. The hallway was bright, but cold. It was winter. The boy tried to be silent, but a girl heard him. She sat down beside him, and wrapped her arms around him, before hugging him tightly.Their hair had exactly the same color, a dark brown one.

"Why are you crying Nathan?"

Her voice was gently and calm. Soon the boy, named Nathan looked at her. Tears was still rolling down his cheeks. He lent nearer the girl, before looking down again.

"You left me, I didn't knew where you was, I couldn't see you! You promised to never leave me... You said that you should be with me!"

He cried even more, and the girl hugged him even more tight. She looked sad, as she was remembering something that made her want to cry. But she tried to stay strong, for the boy that seemed to be her brother.

"I was just outside Nathan, not far away. I will never leave you, I'm you sister, right? Don't worry, ill be there for you..."

She smiled to the boy, and he looked up at her. They where as like as twins, although that the boy seemed to be just six and the girl eight.

I gasped. The boy was... A huge roar filled my mind. Something had angered the voiced, very much. The roar splintered the memory, and left behind only small pieces without a meaning. I couldn't remember what the memory had been about, just that the boy was similar to me. The voice calmed down to snarling, but it was still terribly angry. A shiver ran through my body. I wanted the voice to stop. It wasn't right when it was angry.. I wanted to make it happy. But instead i had made it angry. Suddenly it calmed down, although that I still could feel it rage. It's voice was as calm and gentle as always.

"Kill him... Burn him... Let him scream..."

A bit of me refused to. H e was so young and similar. But me bare feet started to move nearer him. Like the voice was controlling them. It wasn't a bad feeling. The voice was so nice, I was sure that it was just the right thing to do. It was right to kill and burn the boy. Because the voice said so. But still a bit of me refused to. My feet stopped, and I stared at the boy. I didn't wanted to burn him. A roar of rage filled my head. And I shivered. The voice was so angry. The bit of me that refuses to kill the boy was getting smaller, it was vanishing into the bit of me that wanted to follow the voice. My feet started to walk again, and I moved nearer and nearer the young boy. His dark, brown hair moved in the gentle wind. As I moved nearer him, I could smell a weak but familiar scent of mint. My hands started to heat up, like I was holding a fire. And when I looked down, I saw that they actually was on fire. But the fire didn't hurt me at all. No, it felt right. The voice agreed, and kept on with speaking to me.

"Can you imagine how it will be to see him burn. He will thank you later you know, although that he will scream now... But that's how it must be... Just a few more steps my little flame, and you'll be near enough. Near enough to burn him..."

I smiled as I saw the boy's eyes be filled of fear. He should be scared of me. But the voice was right, he would thank me later. And he should be thankful. The fire was mighty. They boy began to shiver, but he was paralyzed, like a prey that sees it's hunter. The thought made me laugh, and that just scared the boy even more. I smiled to him, and felt how the fire in my hands grew stronger...

I guess this is what people names cliffhanger xD This chapter was quite easy to write actually, but poor little boy, his sister is... Well, I'm not totally sure what she actually is. But that will come, I think. Btw, I was really sleepy when I wrote it, and my grammar is probably terrible. And the story is basically taking place in London, but its a kind of my own London. For example, there is a wood around the east side of it in my story, although that it might not be that in the reality. But you know; Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality(:
